I bought the 7’1” MH Akatakas rod. I’ve fished twice with it so far. Most of my fishing was with a 3/8 oz flipping jig and I’ve caught about 20 bass on it so far.1. The MH power rating seems like it’s right on. I would say the tip is a little bit slower than my other 7’ jig rod. I’m actually good with that. It gives me a chance to feel the fish without the fish feeling me.2. Sensitivity is about on par for the price point. I have a couple of $200 rods that are far more sensitive and I have some $60 rods that don’t quite live up to this rod.3. The best part of this rod is the smaller blanks. By the 3rd blank the size is very small. This increased casting distance and made flips more effortless.With it’s length and power, it’s a pretty versatile rod. I like a jig on it. My brother threw a frog with it. Good vibrating jig rod. Overall, I’d call this rod a very good value.

Just got my 6'6" casting pole today, wasdisappointed when I seen that the lb rating on the rod was 10-17lbs. In the description it was listed for 10-27lb and was one of the main reasons I got this rod. It was packaged great and looks like a pretty decent rod. I was gonna use itwith my new reel this week, nowI gotta go pick up a different rod first. please fix your description!

So far this appears to be a good rod. It is great for casting heavier lures. The quality appears to be good and the handle is comfortable. I will try to update this with a long term review in the future.

This rod is awesome. I went with the 7’1” MH casting rod in red and I’m very impressed with it. It is very evident that both the craftsmanship and materials are of high quality. I’m an avid bass fisherman, and both strength and sensitivity are important factors I consider when purchasing rods. This fast action rod is built tough, with an elegant design that definitely feels like it’s much more expensive competitors.

Fits great on 4000, 5000 and 6000 reels. Fits 3000 and below but starts looking like a little kid in dad's XL t-shirt. No complaints.

Better quality than I thought it would be since it’s so cheap, just needed a beater rod but the pole is too beautiful to beat up
