SpareCover abc-Rav4-29-silver ABC Series Silver Logo - Black Trim 29" Heavy Soft Tire Cover

I was tempted to give this a 3 star rating due to how frustrating it was to get it over the tire, but the real problem was that I purchased it for a 2009 when the description clearly stated "1996-2004". The product itself is great.The problem is that the later model Rav4s have styled the spare tire area so that it fits into a deep recess. A victory of style over functionality. Installation of this cover requires that you have access to the entire tire so that you can fit it behind it all around. In the end, I wound up having to completely remove the tire, put the cover on, push the tire back onto the lugs, then carefully peel back the top section of the cover so that I could replace the lug nuts.IMO, it's not a great solution for this model Rav4, but the alternative was to purchase a new Toyota cover for $200 which comes unpainted. I called around and getting it painted to match my car would cost another $300!My tire is a p225/65r17 and the 29" cover fit it just fine.

My original hardshell cover was destroyed when I recently had to use my spare tire, so I got this to replace it. It was a bit tough to get on but it it fits snugly and should be able to come off in one piece. It also looks good, which is nice.Some other reviewers were complaining of a lower-quality cover, so buy from a reputable seller. I bought directly from Amazon.

GREAT US made tire cover ... Be sure your cover is authentic. It took me a few to get the authentic version. US made products do not ship from over seas.. if it costs half the price as the authentic it should be obvious you will receive an inferior product that will not last one summer and the print is horrible. If you receive the small cover from China return it. The real version weighs aprox 2 pounds .. the China cover weighs less than 1 pound. The Rav4 print on the China cover is a pale white. The US made cover has nice crisp accurate image printed in metallic silver ink just like the OEM version ... Protect the US economy and by US made products...

Great tire cover, very much like the original RAV4 cover, heavy vinyl, perfect fit. The RAV4 logo looks great too. My original cover got lost in an accident two years ago. I replaced it with a cheaper generic cover but it was falling apart after two years. This new cover is made of much heavier material and I think it will last a long time. Great product.

I forgot to remove the cover before entering a carwash. The wash that I chose was the "ultimate". I held my breath during the whole wash but this cover never moved!! I highly recommend this product. The cover met all of my expectations.

The materials are heavy duty, solid and well made. It was tight getting the cover on the spare tire, but you wouldnt want it loose and fly away while driving down the road. It looks great and gave a nice freshening up to the back of this aging car. I'd buy this again without hesitation if I had to do it again. Very happy with product, instructions and the fit on the spare tire.

Fits my 1999 RAV4 spare tire very nicely and really spruces up the whole vehicle. A little pricer than others but seems quite sturdy.

Came really quickly! Fit well and was easy to get on once I put it in the sun to heat up a bit. Would have been five stars but the stitching seems a bit loose on the seams. Made of really good, strong material though.
