This is only a review of the installation.I suspect this is a very good cat deterrent.The package includes a generous supply of plastic sheets which comes with a paper backing.You peel the plastic from the paper and affix it to your furniture.Half the sheets have very thin paper backing and half have heavy paper backing.The plastic appears to be the same on both thin and thick paper.(There are no instructions, so I am not sure if there is any difference)The problem is removing the plastic from the thin backing paperAll of my 'thick' paper sheets pealed easilyNone of the 'thin' paper sheets pealed from the plasticHalf of my pack was 'thin' paper backing and ruined.(imagine removing a price sticker from a store item where the sticker is not easily removed and leaves a mess) Fortunately, there is a good supply of sheets and I was able to cover my couch with half of the sheets.

One of my cats love to scratch on my fabric headboard. Drives me bonkers when I’m sleeping and it’s starting to rip. The Claw Stopper works really well. My cat jumped on it and he was confused and unhappy, so he’s left it alone.I cleaned my headboard with a lint roller before I applied so the protector can stick to the fabric better. Then apply. It goes on so easily because the protector is made of a thick material. So definitely not like those flimsy phone protectors. The pins also screwed on well, though make sure you’re pinning them in an area where there’s more stuffing and not hitting any wood frame. I’m glad it was only slightly sticky as I wouldn’t want to ruin my furniture with sticky residue. When I pulled the protector off to reapply and fix, it didn’t leave glue behind. It’s pretty transparent and the pins actually go well with my headboard.Just make sure to clean your furniture beforehand and use the pins to pin in soft places.

I put this on my leather chair. They do not fit for this purpose well, because i sit on it often and the edges lift up.This product may work better on a surface that you do not sit on often. Like putting it in the side of the couch.Easy to apply. They are not flexible. They remind me of a tempered glass screen protector for a curved screen, they don't fit edges well. Meant for flat surfaces.However, i will keep this on mu chair. My cat does not scratch my chair anymore, however it feels weird when i sit down. I hope to keep it up until he is older. He is 5 months old and i don't want him to have the habit of scratching my chair

I'm a firm believer that cats should always keep their claws - but that doesn't mean I have to like it when they destroy literally anything covered in fabric. I have tried putting scratch posts near the area to entice them to use those instead. I have tried deterrent sprays. I have tried the glue on nail covers (they literally chewed them off)... This is literally my last hope in furniture protection - and so far - it's worked! I'm so glad I gave this a go - I will certainly purchase again when I have new furniture in the house!

Very easy to install and even cut them in two due to extra large size. I liked how sticky they are because on the arms of one couch I couldn't use the twist pins due to the wooden inner frame. They are hardly visible on the patterned accent chair, but you can see them on the solid navy couch. They seem sturdy and not likely to be punctured by even a sharp cat nail. Now I just hope the curious cats don't try to bite at the twist pins. 🤞

Using these Claw Stopper furniture protection sheets have completely deterred our cat from scratching and sharpening his claws on the furniture. The clear sheets are a thick material, nice and sturdy. They come in a roll, so you will have to roll them up the opposite way to flatten them out for use, otherwise they will just curl up. They can be easily cut to fit, but be sure to round any corners because it can be sharp. The swirled pins used to tack them to furniture are long and can grip deep inside the material, but are easily removable. Overall, very happy with these!

So far so good.The cats were using the corners of a new u shaped sectional as their scratching post despite having multiple other scratching posts in the house for them. These protectors were very thick, above my expectations, and also had very good adhesion, again above my expectations. So far, the price seems more than worth it. I'm quite surprised that you get 6 of these very large pieces of plastic for the price.I gave the Easy to install 4 stars because, well it's a huge piece of tape which is never easy to install.The only downside is the plastic coating doesn't look as nice as the real couch but I guess with pets you don't really get a choice all the time.I will update in a couple weeks on if it really did deter the cats or not and include photos.
