Gosudarev Zakaz Salmon (Red) Caviar 907 g (2 lbs) can

I’ve been a regular customer of this seller for red caviar, and they never disappoint. Orders arrive quickly in securely double-protected packaging, including a thermal box and ice packs. The product always has a long expiration date, and the caviar itself is consistently delicious—delicate, perfectly salty, and never oversalted. The price is excellent, too.

Low quality caviar, very salty and not dry. Not happy with the purchase.

The United States has largest number of estuaries leading to the rivers where salmon makes nests and lays eggs. 2001 in Los Angeles red caviar was 15$/pound. About 2010 it has appeared the Ukrainian created company in Seattle. Selling the best red caviar from Alaska for 50$/kilogram (2lbs). There is good man living in New York selling "Gosudarev Zakaz Salmon (Red) Caviar 907 g (2 lbs)". He is wholesaler and he was selling for 50$ 5 cans (not less). Quality of the "Gosudarev Zakaz Salmon (Red) Caviar 907 g" is not so good like from Alaska but it closer to the real price of red caviar - 15$/lb. We stopped buying red caviar after Seattle company raised prices to 100$ and more for kilogram (2 pounds). We stopped buying it for 100$ can. American people don't eat red caviar. People in USA prefer black caviar. As less demand, as higher prices - law of the market. This kind of product will die in USA if prices will be so high. I bought it only as gift. I bought it for 50$ because of our friends to share only. 50$/can is too high. 100$ can for this 2nd grade caviar is not acceptable.

Our six-year-old son has loved caviar since his Ukrainian babushka brought some red Russian salmon caviar with her during one of her visits with us in the U.S. when he was two years old. I ordered this brand, as the one we have previously purchased on Amazon was not available for reordering, and I'm glad we did. It was ordered on July 29, 2020, and arrived today, August 7, 2020, just before noon (the first day of the one-week delivery window provided). The box was intact, well-packed with insulating styrofoam, packing peanuts, and two ice packs. The can was still cold, although the ice packs were melted. There was a dent in the side of the can that likely occurred during transport, but it was not a big deal and did not impact the seal in any way. It is much tastier than the prior one(s) we ordered, has great flavor, not overly salty, whole eggs (I only saw a couple broken ones when I opened the can, and not a lot of "juice" in the can, as the other brands had), and it has the plastic lid for sealing. I will definitely buy this again for our family to enjoy.

The caviar is very delicious. The egg size was not as large as I thought it's gonna be, but the freshness and taste were definitely beyond my expectations. For 2 pound can, the price seems to be fair. My family likes to eat it as a spread on white bread with some unsalted butter. It seems they like it so much that the whole can was almost gone during a couple of weeks, so I am considering to buy another one.

This order came in cold package, but the item was deformed from one side. It is not returnable. Caviar is ok, not the best quality.

Just got a package- no ice pack, no proper packaging at all, the item is damaged, the box it arrived is damaged, the taste is bitter. I will never buy this product ever again and will not recommend anyone to buy it
