Does the job well for all pots, not just bonsai pots.
Allows water to drain from bottom hole while retaining soil. Latest advisories on potting plants indicate one should NOT line bottom with a layer of pebbles, etc., as it actually hampers the drainage. In addition, it's now not necessary to sanitize pebbles before using in pots. Instead, just cover the hole with a mesh screen.I've been repotting these past few days an notice there is very little loss of soil when the pot drains. However, the water does drain out.Generous count of both square and round mesh pads make it a good deal. I gave it only four stars for durability since I've not had them long enough to make a judgement on this. However, once the soil settles, it should not be an issue. Glad I found these. Makes repotting easier.HINT: For the side holes (usually on the edge of the bottom) on ceramic pots with permanently attached saucers, I was able to bend these into a roughly 45 degree angle to cover these holes. The trick is to fold the mesh over a round dowel and heat with the hair dryer. Shape it to what you need for that particular pot. It works!

Amazing Product!
I’m so happy I found these. I have a lot of plants and live in New York.. which isn’t a great combination due to the colder climate. So a lot of my gardening is done indoors throughout the year. These make things cleaner and less of a mess. Keeps the soil maintained! You get a ton of them too. Great Price - highly recommend!

Great product!
Love these. Round once are thick and rigid, square ones are a bit more flexible.

Needed More and They Were Readily Available
Have only used a few for my bonsai trees as this is not the time to repot. The size is good. The quality seems good so they should definitely fill my need.

Minimizes soil loss through drainage holes.
The small mesh screens are a versatile solution for my container gardening needs. It's a definite problem solver. An economical way to limit the soil escaping the pot when watering. GREAT FOR SUCCULENTS!!!

Perfect and quick solution!
These work well with the Bloem Ups-A-Daisy Round Planter Lift Insert, which has a large finger hole. I was in a hurry to get 8 caladiums transplanted into large planters to liven up my patio and these were the perfect solution. In the future, I'll probably buy and cut some screening myself, but I was able to get these from Amazon in 2 days, which made my life a little easier.

Actual account received versus count advertised was significantly incorrect...
Dislike that I was shorted almost 30 screens... I guess that is one of the benefits of working from home and having extra time on my hands. Overall the product is very sturdy. Look into other vendors before purchasing.

Great for my planters
Fits nicely in the bottom of my smaller planters and prevents dirt from coming out the holes.

Good Quality
It's better than expected and everything is there. 110 pcs of the round ones and 20 pcs of the square ones.
