Excellent Bargain!
Trialed this in my front yard about a month ago, then took it camping where it significantly rained. Performed great, no leaks, sturdy even in some pretty gusty winds. Can’t say enough about the Peregrine brand...so many features of more expensive backpacking tents (DAC pokes, gear loft, adequate ventilation, easy to set up (like 5 min, seriously). At only 3.5 pounds, it will be my “go-to” backpacking tent. Very happy with it, great value!

Happy so far
Unboxed the tent and set it up inside so far. The set up is super easy, the tent is plenty big enough for a 1 man tent and the color is great. The Yellow really brightens up the interior space and the gear loft is a nice touch. The materials seem really nice and sturdy while maintaining light weight. The poles, tent, and fly go up really quickly. The DAC poles snap together well and snap into the Jake's Foot attachments with ease. The fly clips on easy as well and tightening everything down was super quick. I believe this will work well in the backcountry and I cant wait to get out with it!

Has no footprint
I have only set this tent up in my livingroom. But set up was a breeze. First time less than 5 minutes. Does not come with a footprint, but still a great deal. Mesh goes all the way to the ground. Hopefully will be great ventilation.

Excellent 1 person ultralight
I have tried many tents and returned several before finding this one. Like another review mentioned, get the footprint (it comes with its own set of stake/clips) you can use the fly with the footprint alone to cut weight with minimal space exposed around the edges (check the weather reports please!). Great space in the vestibule, easy to open/close. Tested several nights in Colorado at high altitude, moderate rain, it was quick to set up and surprised I have no complaints as I usually do, have been backpacking for 20 years! Good ventilation which is especially important to me that there not be condensation on the inside. You may want to do a little waterproofing the seams on the fly just to be safe as I am not sure if it is taped but I would do this for any tent. Bonus with several mesh gear pockets on the inside for gloves, etc. Check out the youtube reviews that show the footprint setup and more photos.

3 season tent that could handle all 4
I took this thing to Patagonia and put this thing through the ringer. For those of you that don't know, Patagonia has some of the craziest weather in earth. Goes from sunny to vicious wind, to rain/sleet/hail/snow, and back to sunny in the matter of hours. Immensely impressed with its performance. Kept me dry through some intense storms. A unique feature that I noticed was it's tent pole set up. Only two poles that remain mostly independent of each other, meaning they are capable of moving separately and naturally. Poles that clip, snap, and connect together can be put under tremendous stress when in adverse weather, putting them in positions they were not meant to be in, which is usually where they tend to break. These poles are able to slip past each other while retaining structural integrity of the entire tent. There were points I was being hit with 60+ mph winds, and this little tent held strong, even WITHOUT staked guylines. Had I staked and tighten those, I suspect this thing would have even budged. I can't imagine much worse conditions I could put this thinking through without going to Baffin island or northern Alaska.

Great 1 person tent for the price
Great 1 person tent for the price. I bought the one with the footprint, some do not have them = get one if not. Aluminum magnetic poles fit together quickly. The screen tent had a snag in it after a bit. I think it was because I packed it with the zipper open, but who knows-not a hole. I am 5"10, 170ish. I have not slept in the rain yet, buy do not foresee a problem. There is enough room for a pack under the vestibule, but I keep my boots inside. A 72" x 20" fits well with room on the outside for stuff.
