Sure it's cheaply made, but so is the price. It's perfect for kids to learn about saving.

Very cute little bank. I love that it has an access code so my kids can't steal from each other and the little ones can't access the inside! Very fun for older kids and safe from Littles. Worth the price. Works well and easy to set up. It holds quite a bit. It is fairly noisy but once the novelty wore off I didn't hear it quite as often, lol. We have this style for ages 1-9.

Absolutely what my 7 year old son was looking for! Perfect way to encourage saving money and responsibility with the personal pass code. It even gives an error sound if you put in the wrong code...which he loves because he pretends it's a bank robber. Would recommend this for anyone!! Quality built item and fun for kids. This bank was great for 9 months. Everything worked well for 9 months before it stopped working. Honestly, it lasted longer than I anticipated given that fact that it cost less than $20. It is made of plastic and has basic wiring inside to operate the lock and currency feeder so it was only a matter of time until my son dropped the bank on the floor and dislodged a wire. At that point, it will not open. If that happens to you, just take a flathead screwdriver and wedge it in the crack between the door and body. The locking mechanism is in the very center and it will pop open with a little push. This beat having to take a hammer to it to get the money out.

Perfect gift for Christmas. Great build quality, works as it should and kid friendly.

Bought one for each of my boys. They love the automatic bill feeder. They're excited about saving now. Just wish it came with a counter but I understand that's more high tech.

I purchased two banks in different colors for my grandson (6) and grand daughter (4). They both loved it and played with it for quite a while. The 6 year old had an easier time making it work, but the 4 year old caught on with a little help. Nice that you can set the code to whatever the child wants. Be sure to have AA batteries on hand. Also, the small screw holding the battery cover in place can be easily stripped.TIP: Placing a bit of plastic wrap (folded over 3 - 4 times) between the screw and the screwdriver makes it easier to remove the screw without stripping it.
