I'm impressed. This was one of the less expensive options, so I worried a bit about "cheap". But it's not. It's sturdy, seems well put together, and is well designed (for my intended use which is slow to moderate walking). Delivery was almost blindingly fast. I put it together a bit at a time, so don't know how long it took, just that I had to go online to look at it a couple of times to understand what pieces went where; not bad, just slightly confusing. The "legs" are cleverly designed for easy height adjustments. It folds up compactly, and moves fairly easily; I could wish the tiny wheels were just a tad bigger. I was pleased at the width of the tread; some of these seem to have very narrow treads. I had been concerned about the weight limit, and some of the comments added to that concern, while others eased it. At any rate, at 200 lb I've seen no problems, no slowdown when stepping onto it, etc. Again, I don't plan on any running, which I'd assume is much harder on treadmills. The safety shutoff pleased me; I like simple and clever, and it works fine. I should add that the treadmill is attractively designed. In short, I do recommend this treadmill, at least for light-use ordinary walking.Cons (all minor): The bottom (when folded) locking screw, whose purpose I don't know, is in an impossible location for closing and opening the treadmill; I worry about losing it when closing the treadmill, or just forgetting to put it back in when I open it again. If not for that I'd keep the treadmill closed except when I'm using it. The upper one is also a bit of a hassle; I really wish it were spring-loaded instead, so it wouldn't have to be extensively screwed/unscrewed every time. The controls are slightly confusing but I'm figuring them out. I do wish there were an option to use "miles" instead of "kilometers". Yes, I know we in the US really need to get with the metric program, but I'm an old dog to have to switch so abruptly.

Perfect for me, but probably not for most people.
Perfect for my purpose, size, price range, and apartment size. You just have to set the right expectation.Pros:- Cheap.- Folds up well enough: as long as you do not cause the standing part to twist. I walked into it a couple times in our tiny apartment, and it unfolded on its own. We caught it, fortunately.- Single-button control for 4 pre-set speeds: this is perfect for the interval training type runs I do.- Goes pretty fast for something this size/price, and gains/reduces speed impressively quick, too.- Unexpectedly quiet: I cannot hear it over a fan I used to cool myself down during the run. Not entirely sure if my downstairs neighbour would agree, but he/she hasn't complained in the past month that I have been using it.Cons:- It slides: its contact points with the floor lack traction, and definitely requires carpeted surfaces or a mat. Seriously, do not run on this on a wood floor, you will seriously hurt yourself.- Short running surface: I am 5'2", but I don't think people taller than myself can use this. Hubby is 6'2", he definitely cannot safely run on it.- No reliable physical support: I won't recommend this to someone with problems balancing while locomoting. The railing part is not entirely stable, and definitely not something I will trust it if I fall. When I use this treadmill, I set it up next to something stable to catch my balance with just in case.

Distance and Speed Are Not Accurate
Okay, so here’s the deal: It’s small. I’m a small person, so this is fine for me, but if you’re an actual adult-sized adult, you’ll probably find this too short and too narrow. It might feel like it’s not sturdy enough. I think it’s fine, but again, I’m pretty small. Also, it SAYS it measures distance in metric — but it doesn’t. I have a year’s worth of recorded walks and runs both indoors on a high end gym treadmill and outdoors on various surfaces. My slowest walk in a year of daily walks is 3 mph - meaning I walk a mile in 20 minutes. This says I walked 1 km in 20 minutes, or just over a half mile. No way. The speed works similarly. The 5 kph setting is way too fast to be only about 3 mph, and when I tested it, I took far more steps than I do in a typical mile. Bottom line: This says it measures in metric, but my bets are it doesn’t.Good for the price. I only use it when I can’t get outside or to a gym, and it works fine for that.

Good treadmill for the price
Things I Like:I've had the treadmill for few days now and have used it for 3 one hour sessions. I bought it so I can walk on it at a moderate speed, which this is perfect for. I received the unit in 48 hours after purchasing with the free shipping. It took me about 20 minutes to put the unit together, all the tools needed were provided. The top speed allows you to get up to a light jog. The display has speed in Km/h, time elapse, distance in Km, and calories burned. The system automatically stops after 1 hour of usage. The walking space is kind of small compared to most treadmills, however, the unit does not take up much room so it is nice for people with limited space.Things I don't like:The belt does need some adjusting which is done with an Allen wrench on the back end of the treadmill. With out adjusting the belt I did notice the belt slipping as I walked. Once I adjusted it I haven't noticed slipping. When walking I usually hold onto the handles to maintain walking straight, with the limited walking space its easy to step on the side. The display system is kind of loud when turning it on and adjusting the speed.Overall I am happy I chose this treadmill over some of the others. It is a good value for the price and works perfectly for my needs.
