The product is very good at this price range. Though its wipro its manufactured in china and had the almost same design as some other brand. The app is a good companion for this product and is really a value add. It gives realtime electricity consumption and daily and montly value also. Its to be noted that scheduled operation will work without wifi and internet but smart automation will not work without internet. So if timer based functionality is required then this is perfect but you will need the app to do all the configuration. Good alexa integration and it works.

This nifty socket is a cool and easy way of making your dumb appliances smart. It is definitely a smart buy. Bought few of these to automate my new apartment. By doing that I jumped into home automation and I can’t seem to stop buying these devices.Pros:1. The quality is definitely good for the price.2. Installation is a breeze.3. The socket is compatible with Google Assistant, Alexa and IFTTT.4. Doesn’t need any hub which is definitely a good way to save money if you have a good WiFi router.5. The app is intuitive (But Alexa and Google Home Apps are better which you can use)Cons:1. DOESN’T HAVE POWER MONITORING.2. Form factor is little big. Hard to plug into small corners.3. Doesn’t support Apple HomeKit/HomePod.Wipro was little sneaky in the way they showcased the feature. They had initially mentioned that you can monitor the power consumption by switching off the appliances from anywhere which was little confusing. There is no way of monitoring the number of units consumed and since this review they have removed that from the feature list.Please Note: The circular ones from Wipro have power monitoring (to check units consumed) and the square ones from Wipro don’t have it.

Bit higher on the price side, but you can have great control of your devices. Alexa voice command works like charm, also we can schedule it from Wipro Next smart home app. I installed it at ny workstation area to plug in good knight 😊 Evening time it automatically turns on good knight active and keeps me safe from mosquitoes. It saves oil, as its scheduled and no worries to forget it to turn on and off manually every time by bending in. If an adhoc basis I need to turn on good knight, I say "Alexa turn on good knight" and it turns it on instantly... Needless to say it has various other usages, I just shares my example.

Easy to install !Make sure it’s always connected to Internet for flawless schedule timerAnd for safer side , if power connectivity fails the schedule time is failed . This is for a safer side only , if Unexecuted , It will send a notification to the User’s phone .I loved the interface and the working method .Good for my office UPS, Lights and other electrical equipment.

The product is good as long we are lucky enough.I have bought 7 pieces out of which 3 products are defective after the return window period was over.It becomes hot , it turns off by itself after few minutes and also turns on by itself.Both turning on and off is by itself and we can not rely upon this device.Most horrible experience is with Wipro customer service representatives first they don't understand the above mentioned problems, second thing is they will take our details and say that they will discuss with the technical team and will call back.but they never call back nor they are available in Toll-Free Number also.So it is better don't waste your money and mental peace by buying wipro smart plugs. You will suffer a lot. Also Amazon customer service helpless after the return window is closed.Think wisely and then buy products from other companies.I have to face the same issue for last three times.Wipro customer service is not helping, nor picking call , not giving service request number nor replying to emails nor calling back when we call the IVRS it said that they will call back.Amazon should blacklist this product, because for me it is giving trouble of turning off/switching off by itself, I think a particular batch of products are not working properly and the seller is again shipping the returned product without inspection of the faulty product..Something is wrong with the manufacturer or a particular batch of products. My older similar devices are working properly.But these days getting devices with problems

this is a good stuff. works well with alexa and google . there is a bit difficulty in setup, but after that it just works fine. the response is also very fast. I have seen other smart plug reviews and see that it takes some time to accept the command, but Wipro smart plug responds so quickly. Go for it !!!

I bought this product in Aug 2020 and it worked well while it lasted, however, it started heating up and used to work off and on with the same energy load as earlier.The warranty is for 2 years therefore I have no hope of getting it replaced/ repaired. I am in a dilemma as to whether I should buy the same product or try out a new brand!With Wipros' branding I expected the product to last longer.Suggestions are welcome.

Pros:Like the idea that we can integrate it with Alexa and Google assistant.If you don't have these we can just simply put schedules to turn things on amd off.We can also set timers, is another nice feature.Cons:Terrible WiFi reception.My room is just barely 20 foot away from the router the the app already shows the WiFi signal there is poor, meanwhile my laptop and phone all other devices work fine in the same spot.
