My new favorite gadget
This thing is awesome. I bought it because I am tired of putting my phone in odd places in the car and having it banged around. First what impressed me is the flexible holder. It’s very sturdy and can hold my iPhone 8 plus with a battery case with no problem. The phone stays where I put it. It does fit and lock into the cup holder easily and the one touch button to open the holder is an additionally nice feature. This is exactly what I wanted and it works like a charm. Oh I should add: the manufacturer says don’t force the clamp that holds the phone open. But: for some reason the left clamp would not release initially and I had to force it. After that it worked fine.

Works great for cup holder...but
I got this for cheap, and it's been working very well. Stays in place after fumbling with the base to get it to expand to fit the cup holder, but after that no issues. The phone holder is pretty sturdy and will hold the phone pretty good, hasn't slipped out or anything yet. Not a lot of places to put a phone holder in my Mini Countryman, as I hate the window mount kind which never stay in place for me after some use. I tried the CD mount one, and the knob to tighten the assembly get in the way of the mute button on the stereo so if you hit a bump or touch it it would mute the music etc. So this one I'm in partial love of; mostly love. Wish I had more cup holders though, that's the only drawback if you have a passenger :)

Nice little phone holder
This was a nice little addition to my new truck. Most of the similar ones are too long, and the phone gets in the way. With this short one, it's not only out of the way, the phone can't exert as much leverage on the holder, so it stays in the cup holder, even over nasty bumps and hard stops. The twist-to-fit grips are fairly stout and achieve a good hold, but wait to bend the rod into position until you have it mounted. With the phone holder part on the rod, it can be a bit of a pain to re-adjust the position....found that out the hard way.

Protective Extender Material coming off after 1 month!?!
This was for a friend who's sometimes on the road a lot & always on the phone. It was easy to install, seems to hold the phone securely. As for durability just not sure, he's used it barely a month. I just saw it 2days ago first time since he got it. The extended ports are showing wear as the protective 'cloth' on the extenders coming off, I don't know if it's a weakness in the item or just this one, time will tell. They are designed to allow the holder to fit the car cup holder securely, without damage to car but the wear I see now gives me pause as it's barely in use for 1 month & already coming off. I don't know how long it will hold up the entire item if the extenders & protective material comes off after barely a month, I would think it might cause the cell phone cup holder to slide around.I considered it for my car but the 'lip' around the cup holder prevents it from fitting my car. Maybe that's a good thing considering what I've seen with his.If the extenders were holding up better I truly think it could be a 5 star item. But after he's had it only a month it doesn't look like a 5 star item. For those who have enjoyed their purchase I'm pleased. If you're considering this item I am just reviewing what I've seen with a month's use....not daily use during this month. It would have been returned but he was out of state just passed the return date. Will try to keep updating as to how the item stands up to normal use

This item is very cheaply made.
This phone holder is one of the worse item I purchased. It doesn't hold the cup holder. The phone is more on the floor then what it's meant to be. Don't buy it you'll regret what you did and I should know cause I have one. It's now at my trunk.

Need longer neck
The product is a great idea. I just found the neck tooo short. I do not want to be looking down when driving to see my cell phone ( map). If they make the neck to extend higher ( varies levels) to the individuals eye level, then they would have the ideal item.

Good value.
Stuck immediately to the windscreen, and hasn't moved. Easy to adjust so you can get it how and where you want it.Holds the phone securely. It does shake when driving, but this is more to do with our rural setting, the state of our roads, and the number of green lanes involved. Even when shaking it remains secure, and its still easy to read maps etc as you travel along.

Good solid product so far
So far so good, still stuck on the windscreen after over a week even after moving to a different position. Haven't used the 'foot' yet as I haven't had any problems with vibrations which i would put down to the arm being pretty sturdy and solid. However I can see how it helps to stabilise if you went on bumpy roads or motorways. Easy to put together and put on windscreen with simple suction cup. Well packaged, overall good product so far, hope it lasts!
