Huanyu Oilless Diaphragm Vacuum Pump 30L/min Chemical Resistant No Oil Laboratory Vacuum Filtration Extraction Distillation 110V (Single Pump, GM-0.5A)

It only pulls around 25in vac but it pulls it fairly fast. We use ours on a 50L rotovap and from this pump we then have a welch rotary vane pump. The great thing about this pump is it gives the ability to connect another pump in series which allows deeper vacuum and we can pull it faster. Great thing about this kind of pump is it's not affected much by any condensate or contaminants that make it to the pump. Unlike an oil based pump. Also the pump is fairly quiet once it's pulled a little vacuum and then just gets quieter. No issues starting either. If you don't need an extreme deep vac but a fast moderate vac that isn't affected by materials under vac then this pump may work for you.

We have the GM-0.5A standard pump (blue). So far, we have gotten 250+ hours of continuous runtime on the pump. We are actively air cooling it, but that might not be necessary.It’s not super quiet, but it seems very sturdy and well built.Even after a week and a half of continuous use, I haven’t noticed any changes in sound or temperature that would indicate any issues.Seems like a good pump! I’ll keep this updated as we accrue more hours.[Update] we have now been running the pump continuously for four months with no air cooling.

The pump works perfectly and meets the functional needs of my facility.

I work with all kinds of vacuum pumps daily. I had to try one of these since they are so inexpensive - a diaphram pump I use is typically at least $1900. This pump only pulled down to about 530 mBar, not close to the 50 mBar they claim. I returned it the day after I received it.
