does the job well!
Originally bought to feed my analog security camera into my desktop computer, but this thing does so much more. Well worth the money and I will certainly be buying more, I have ideas these will be perfect for! GREAT signal quality, the audio quality is exceptional as well - I was admittedly surprised - but this has 2 video resolution settings AND power is provided via is USB-C line which is included. I run mine 24/7 and have since it came out of the package and its flawless. Color and BW cameras are sharp and clear, the instructions are really no necessary - its literally plug in and you are good to go, and you can use any of your aftermarket video applications to adjust brightness, contrast, and pretty much any feature you would find on your regular analog interface. 10/10 for quality, performance, and value.

Enjoying the old VHS tapes again
Of course my new TV did not have RCA video and audio inputs! I got on the search for a converter and was worried by the vast number available, and the basically cheap prices of the ones Amazon. I watched a youtube video and saw this Wenter had a decent recommendation . I ordered it. Then, I saw where it did not change from 4:3 which is what I wanted, and thought I would have to buy a different one. Somewhere I heard that new TVs did not provide an aspect ration option, and was misinformed. I simply set the Wenter up as instructed, and went into my TV advanced setting and changed it to 4:3, and my old VHS tapes were displayed correctly with a satisfying picture and sound. This may not apply to every TV, so check that you can change the aspect ration before buying a converter that doesn't not offer 4:3.

Not sure of build quality but works well
As the title says, I wasn’t sure of the build quality when I opened the package as the housing is a very light weight plastic and the overall weight of this adapter is so light that the weight of your cables will dictate where the adapter itself ends up on your shelf (it is that light weight). However, that being said, it works very well as far as the audio goes. I honestly cannot comment on the video quality nor upscaling from composite to the supported 720p or 1080p as in my use case, I am only using this to input my RCA outputs to a HDMI port on my AV receiver. I am currently using an old iPhone as server for my music library so that I can easily access playlists, individual songs and artists via voice control with Siri. I have a Lightning charger with audio headphone 3.5mm out adapter, and was using a 3.5mm to RCA cable. However, with my new Denon AV receiver, I only had 2 sets of RCA audio inputs, but 7 HDMI inputs available. So I utilized this RCA to HDMI converter to be able to control all my inputs into the Denon with one remote control, as well as being able to select music with just voice control as mentioned with Siri. So far, it has been working very well with no discernible introduction of static, electrical humming nor distortion. I am very pleased with this adapter but am concerned over the overall construction. Hopefully, along with the electronics, it will continue to hold up. I guess only time will tell.

It does what it’s meant to
It works the way it’s supposed to. If the console or game doesn’t have the best graphics you can’t expect this to “remaster” the games or whatever you’re using it for. It projects the image from rca to be able to use it on tvs that only have hdmi ports. In my situation, I’m using it for my original Xbox console and it works just fine.

Works very good as explained
I needed this to play and watch old VHS tapes I found at my late parents' house.I connected the VHS tape player to the AV amplifier, but nothing appeared on the screen. Why? Because I didn't connect the included USB cable. It is important to make sure to connect the USB cable as well.

It Gets the Job Done
The WENTER RCA to HDMI Converter is a decent option for those looking to connect older devices, such as VHS players, game consoles, or DVD players, to modern HDMI-enabled displays. While it generally performs well and serves its purpose, there are a few drawbacks to consider.Key Features:Functionality: The converter does a good job of converting RCA (AV) signals to HDMI. It supports 1080P resolution, which is a nice feature for older devices that typically output in lower resolutions. The picture quality is solid for the most part, though it can be a bit fuzzy at times depending on the source material.Easy Setup: Installation is straightforward and hassle-free. You simply connect the RCA cables to the input ports, the HDMI cable to the output port, and the device powers on via a USB cable. It’s plug-and-play, and there's no need for complicated software or additional drivers. This makes it a good option for users who just want a quick and simple solution.Compact Design: The device is small and lightweight, which makes it easy to store and transport. Its compact size means it won’t take up much space in a setup, which is a plus if you have a cluttered entertainment area.Audio Support: The converter includes an audio output, which is essential for maintaining sound quality when converting video. The audio comes through clearly, though it may not have the same depth or richness as more advanced converters.
