Does largely what youd expect from a cheap dash cam. Its small, and isn't obstructive. Picture quality is good. Charge up , switch on, and go with the default settings. Which is fine, because if youre a complete novice, the instructions are poor if you want to understand a bit more about whats its doing, and what its capable of. Also the print is so small even reading glasses and a magnifying glass aren't good enough.A Micro SD card is recommended for this device, but in mine, the card will not stay engaged so you get a constant pop up on screen 'No CARD''.The battery doesn't hold for long, so you will have to have a trailing lead hanging down your windscreen.

I bought this product as a cheaper option for the wife's car. I regret going cheap. Firstly I ignored one persons review where he said it was difficult to attach the camera to the camera mount. He wasn't kidding, I had to spray it with some polish and work it in and got to the point of its either going in or breaking. It went in but I was never going to take it out again which causes problems when you want to get a copy of the video its making, you have to remove the micro SD card rather than disturb everything else.I then went through the options and set it up the best I could. At this point I found there wasn't an option for turning the mic off and wasn't impressed with my conversations or singing being constantly recorded.The final part came when I reviewed the recordings. They only lasted a few seconds each, were not of HD quality and ended with an impression of an old video tape on pause with lines everywhere. There was a few seconds gap between each file and so hit and miss if they would ever be of any use.I reset everything to the factory settings, formatted the card and tried again. The same awful results; poor quality very short recordings with time gaps in between each file.I have started the returns process to find that I will be refunded about 50% of the price I paid. I take it that is to cover the cost of the return postage.All in all, not my best purchase or experience.

Very easy to use and recording quality is very good. I only marked the motion sensor down as it needs to have constant power to it and my cigarette socket cuts the power off with the ignition turned off. I will hardwire to my interior light which has a constant power source to overcome this. All in all a great cam for the price and very much recommended.

I have recently had my car insured as a fairly new driver and wanted to get a dash cam to put me at ease when driving. This product has been brilliant so far! Fast delivery, incredibly easy to install via the cigarette lighter in my car and sticks to the top of my windscreen well. It has an easy set up system and the camera quality is excellent during the day and when the night vision feature is live. Once you insert a small memory card, all the recordings are stored on there which makes them easy to retrieve should you need them. I would definitely recommend this product, particularly for new drivers as its so easy to install!

Just brought this back from a long drive from London to Scotland and it has recorded MOST of the journey. Definitely not all of it or it has overwritten bits of it, but not others.... file name skips from 50 to 82 in one instance.The memory card tray is so ill fitting you can easily push the memory card above it and into the camera then you have to pull it apart to get it back.Framerate/bitrate when played back is not great, really struggles in rain or with lots of trees around.Yes it's easy to install and the mount works well, had no issue with the charger and has a nice long cable bu it does not hold i's charge and resets the internal timer every time you use it.However I wouldn't rely on it for anything other than novelty a dashcam should not miss anything. I have now come back to find that large parts (especially at the start) of the journey are now missing.

I was initially sent a camera that did not function correctly but the seller Sonkir went above and beyond to rectify this by sending me a replacement free of charge and for this I thank them.The camera is extremely cheap and ideal for people on a tight budget, you won't get anything special, you certainly won't get video quality to rival the more expensive cameras but you do get video that is entirely usable in the event of an accident and surprisingly good in low light all for less than £18 a really good bargain.Included in the box is the camera itself, a very secure suction cup and a nice long 12v USB cable that can be easily routed along your headlining and door seal to be well hidden.

This is quite a good little dash cam, it doesn’t get in the way of your vision, as you can tuck it behind your mirror and forget about it.It’s not the best made, all plastic, with buttons that need a really good press, and a menu button that doesn’t always respond to you pressing it.The memory card feels like it goes in to far, and is a little tricky to get back out.The only criticism and it get a star removed for it, is that the time doesn’t stay constant. It the moment it’s running 1hour fast, and no matter what you put it to it never stays right.
