An Excellent Alternative To Standard Pasta
This pasta delicious. I could end there because it's true and pretty much all you need to know. But I'm guessing you want a bit more than that?Well, this pasta cooks as quickly and easily as your standard wheat pasta; it doesn't need special treatment or coddling as some other "alternative pastas" do; it isn't gritty or fragile like some other "alt pastas"; it is delicious.However, like most "alternative" products in the food sphere, it is more expensive. We are fortunate in that we eat this because we like it, so we have it occasionally as a treat; for those who rely on this food to live healthily, as with all the "alts", as mentioned, you will need to account for this in your budget. It's why I've dropped it to four stars.

Best Gluten Free Pasta You Can Buy
This Pasta is excellent and is the closest taste/texture you can get to non-gluten free. The Casarecce is a good sturdy choice that keeps it's shape well. I've served it to several people who have not noticed any difference. Highly recommended.

great tasting GF option
although garofalo has decided to lower the content of its package as it used to be 500g now has kept the same price but the content is 400g, you cannot beat the taste and while it is impossible to get perfect al dente GF pasta this is not far off, but you must really pay attention while you cooking it because before you know it is gone soft and spoils the taste. Othert brands instead the go from hard to too soft and so they are rubbish and make you quickly go back to non gf pasta or move to other grains altogether. BY eating garofalo you sure to find a way to keep eating pasta and enjoy it as the real deal, I advice though to may be do not consume pasta more than once a week if you are Gluten sensitive, the whole Idea of being G sensitive is that your diet should not included that many grains even if they are GF, dont go for substitutes much instead go for veg, fruit, nuts, seed, plantain flour etc
