just ordered my 2nd one
this journal is perfect for what i need. it really does lay flat! i'm in the final 15 pages of my first journal, and it's still a cinch to write on at my desk. 160 pages is the perfect amount for me to finish a journal in a satisfying timeframe, but still feel like i worked at filling something up. the bookmark, back pocket, and elastic closing strap have presented absolutely no issues, and are a must for me when it comes to journals. my favorite pen (dr. grip medium point) glides fairly smoothly across the paper, although i imagine felt tip would work great too. i don't have any so i dunno.i loved the burgundy color, and my second color, blush, has just come in. the burgundy was perfectly deep and rich, and i'm a huge fan. the blush is a bit cooler of a color than i expected. i do wish it was a bit warmer, but i tend to attack my journals with stickers, so i don't mind too much. i also tend to tape and paste a bunch of papers and cards into a spread every 20 or so pages, and that's presented no issues with my journal laying flat or looking normal when it's closed.all in all, i intend to keep ordering these, at least until i'm out of colors that i want to use or reuse. i might expand my horizons a bit out of curiosity, but for now, this is an excellent, cheap journal that does exactly what i need it to do at an unbeatable price point.(and if anyone's looking for advice on how to finish a journal, since i only finished my first journal earlier this year: use your journal for everything! taking disorganized notes, packing and grocery lists, writing thoughts, planning something out, pasting in memories. don't feel pressured to make it look a certain way! just use it whenever you need paper for anything, and the overwhelming blank pages will turn into something of your own. have fun!)

Love this notebook for journaling.
Purchased this specific brand for junk journaling after seeing multiple people recommend it. I love the size & versatility. The price was great and I received it in less than 24 hours. There are multiple options for colors, different page styles as well as a pocket in the back for extras. Also love that it has the elastic to keep your journal in tact! 100% will be purchasing more!

Good for journaling
It’s smooth to write on. It’s smaller than I thought. It’s pretty and there’s no pen holder.

great value, love the amount of pages--paper is a tad waxy
I really like that it's a 160 page, in the past i've had a lot of 251 page journals (my journal before this was a LEUCHTTURM1917) and it felt like a lot of pages, I don't journal daily but try to. 160 pages feels a bit more accessible, idk it's hard to explain lol. Compared to the Leuchtturm1917, these pages are a bit more stiff, and waxy. The Leuchtturm feels more like standard paper. I usually exclusively use pentel energel pens--so with these waxier pages you have to be careful to not write too hard or soft or the pen will skip. If you journal with something like a micron or a felt pen, it's not an issue--but I'm a stickler about my pens! All-in all will probably buy again after i fill this guy up.

Pretty nice, not great
The paper was decent, good enough for my fountain pens. The cover felt a little light and cardboardy. You need to economize somewhere to produce a notebook at this price point and I'm glad that they economized on the cover, not the paper. Considering ordering again but there are a few other brands I want to try out first.

Nice paper
I prefer these journals to Moleskine, and the price is nice for sure. Not as nice as a dingbats or leichtturm, but I expected that for the price. Not too much bleed through. I use mine for ink and maker drawing nd put a sheet of sketchbook paper folded in half behind each page to catch occasional bleed thru. If you’re using a standard ballpoint pen I don’t think you’d have this problem

Great notebook for journaling/ notes!
This is a great notebook for journaling/ notes. I love the color- very vibrant. The spine is study and seems like it will last for a while. It's perfect for making notes during my clinicals.

Love this for bullet journaling
So I needed a flexible planner for my ADHD brain and bullet journaling was the answer. It’s super versatile bc I can make it anyway I choose. The bookmark and elastic are great. If I had to change on thing it would be to add an elastic pen holder, but it’s not a dealbreaker for me.The quality for the price is great and there’s minimal color transfer from one side of the paper to the other. I’ve already purchased a second one for backup.

No son tan gruesas como esperaba.
El cuaderno resultó un poco más pequeño de lo que esperaba y las hojas no son tan gruesas. Con uso de plumón si se traspasa al reverso de la hoja; sin embargo, la pasta es dura y es práctico.
