I’ve been using the Plug Adapter Cable 14AWG (1-Foot) NEMA 5-15P to 5-15/20R, and it’s been fantastic. It was what I wanted but it doesn't seem to be able to carry many amps, it is very thin. I bought another one from my local hardware store that was a lot thicker and was rated for more amperage. I wanted it to run a small refrigerator and it has a high start up amp draw.

I have a dedicated garage freezer and fridge. They plug into same outlet box however the cords / plugs are designed the same way hence trying to plug both into same box, one cord is bent about 90 degrees to just try to make them fit. This extension is perfect as it allows room for both to be plugged in. Impressed with the quality as it feels heavy duty.

Welder takes a 30 amp type plug and this device adapts it over without any issues

Use it for a extension for my air fryer. 1700 watts. noted a bit warm a couple times but nothing major. Adds just enough to keep the dryer away from other objects.
