I can’t find ponzu in the grocery stores anymore and the last time I did it was more expensive. This is a pretty good deal for such a large size. The taste/flavor is great, exactly what I like!Note: these sauces need to be refrigerated—- for newbies!

Perfect for dipping dumplings in or anything else really. It’s less salty than soy sauce and has a fresh lemon flavor. I pour a couple table spoons of this into a small bowl and dip my fork full of food into it before eating.

This sauce is amazing! I have, over the years, become increasingly sensitive to salt (especially of the non sea salt variety) and this is essentially soy sauce. It can be used in place of soy sauce in many dishes. It has a rare Japanese citrus in it as well, but it is not as noticeable as one would think. I know that traditionally Ponzu is sweet, but this really isn't all that sweet. I can't imagine cooking without it now!

As advertised-sour flavor.

This large jug of yummy ponzu will last my family a very long time! It's not too salty or too tart. Perfect! Great for sprinkling over steamed rice. Wonderful for dipping pot stickers, chicken tenders, sushi, and tempura veggies.
