I've had 4-5 pairs of a much more expensive sandal (which looks like this one) over the years. The last pair I bought didn't fit the same, and I returned them. That was a $140 sandal. I live in Florida, and literally live in sandals. For $35, this is a killer pair of sandals. Maybe not quite as comfortable, probably not as long-lasting, but for a hundred dollars less ... jackpot. These are comfortable, light, and seem pretty durable. I forget they're on my feet, which is exactly what I want. Buy them - highly recommended.

The sandals arrived a day early and I was pleased to see that they appeared to be well built, the leather upper and suede inner sole, as well as straps seem to be authentic materials. As soon as I tried them on I was immediately impressed by how well they fit, how comfortable they were and decided to wear them around the house to break them in. I wore them the rest of the day and put them back on this morning, still very impressed.The only reason I didn’t rate them as 5 stars is that the sole appears to be more plastic than rubber and the tread depth is very shallow. I wonder how they will grip while hiking or wading in streams, as well as how long they will last.

Update, I returned the 8 and 1/2 and got the nine and a half. I'm a large 8 and 1/2 but the nine and a half is much better for me. So if you're a large eight and a half I'd recommend the 9 and 1/2. Using the straps of the sandal, on the nine and a half you are able to get the arch in the proper spot under your foot for comfort. With the 8 and a half you don't even have a little bit of room to work with and the arch is in the wrong place. Seems to be a very good quality, there is one stitch on the inside that feels rough and scratchy, but otherwise they seem to be quite comfortable, they're attractive, I worry a little bit that the heel is too high. A lower profile means less chance of twisting an ankle. I also worry that the air cushion heel is too flexible which also could lead to twisted ankles. These seem to have good padding under your feet, when I say good padding I mean none of that memory foam garbage, you can't clean memory foam easily, and when it rains you're walking on a wet sponge. Memory foam takes like a week to dry, I learned my lesson the hard way on that. These are much better crafted. Unfortunately they don't come in half sizes at my size, they go from 8 and 1/2 to 9 and 1/2 and I'm a large 8 and 1/2, 9 at most. With the small size the arch does not fit in the proper place under my foot, so I have ordered a nine and a half. I'll make my decision which one to keep after that arrives. It's worth noting so far I have not won them off the carpet in case I need to return the 8 and 1/2.

Bought them for my dad and he loves to wear them to go out or just being in the house. They are comfortable and functional, easy to walk around.

I wasn't sure what to expect for $40. Actually not too much. The first thing I noticed was the box was nice and sturdy and not dented. Then I opened the box and gave it a good strong smell. For something that's made out of synthetics it had a very light chemical smell. I've bought stuff from China before that had a really strong odor the minute you open the box. So this was a good sign. Then I looked it over and everything looked like it was very high quality, much more than I expected. I have a really wide foot and these do not pinch me where my little toe is. This is almost the most important part of any shoes I buy. I kept looking at him and I said these look like real leather. A lot of the sandals in this price range are pure synthetic. So I went back to the product description and sure enough they are real leather! They look like $100 sandal. The foot bed is very solid and might actually be too stiff for a really lightweight person. Maybe not. But I weigh 280 lb and I'm looking forward to a sandal that doesn't fall apart in 3 months and these look like they can go to the distance.

Correct size ordered. Shoes are smaller than the size indicates by just enough to be annoying. Seem well enough made.Ordered a different brand, which fit. Too late to return these. Still like the colors and pattern. Bummed they were just a touch too small.

Awesome sandal!!! The heel doesn't flatten down like similar sandals. Husband's fav!!
