I would say this cooler works pretty quiet compared to others. There is a tank to fill water or ice into which can further provide a better cooling effect. This cooler is also very light and easy to take to my workplace. I use it on my desk. It really cools me down without producing much noise. I like it very much!

The description states that the item is quiet. If this is quiet, I do not know what. It is louder than the ceiling fan I was trying to leave off at night. As far as cooling , it does that, if you are right in front of it . This item is, in my opinion , something you would use at a desk with headphones on to drown out the sound . Hope that helps!

This product is not bad. It works great by putting ice inside. So cool and comfortable. But cable string is too short tho.

This product is flimsy and cheap and does not produce any cooler air than a simple very small mini table fan. It is total garbage. The fan was not even set in the housing. It relies on a very small amount of water to be blown across by air. It is totally ineffective and to add insult to injury I cannot even return it because it was purchased through a third party (totally my fault) and because Amazon says it contains liquids or gasses which it does not (because it is just a fan - you add water to it). I have learned a lesson here and will do better research next time. I was taken.

This product, with complicated, badly written directions, obviously translated from Chinese, is a total waste of money. Once you get past the annoyance of figuring out the "in's & out's" of setting up this little cooler, it isn't worth the effort. It barely has any output with marginal cooling, and you have to practically put your face right up next to the fan to feel anything. I threw it out.

Unlike a fan which only recirculates hot air this thing actually produces cold air. All you gotta do is fill it up with a little bit of cold water from the sink and it starts cooling you. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of cold air it produces. I have a window air conditioner and even though this thing cannot cool an entire room, it can still comfortably cool the area around my desk. It’s also noticeably quieter than my window air conditioner. The best part about using this is that I don’t like how dry the air gets when I have my window ac on so I use my window ac in conjunction with this thing because this also humidifies the surrounding area for me.

It's not bad personal space cooler, you do have to have it rather close to feel the full effect of it but in my hot computer room it does the job well enough.I don't like how loud it gets on it's medium and high settings, i stream games as a hobby and if i turn it up you can hear the thing running in the background of my streams.It won't have any effect on the room itself, if you turn it on and walk away don't expect to come back to a colder room it's just for blowing cold air at you personally, why all of these little air coolers are called air conditioners is beyond me honestly since the have no actual effect on the room they're in.It worksI wish it was quieterIt won't effect the overall temperature of a roomI'd only recommend it if you want something better at cooling you down then a regular fanDefinitely not worth the $60 it cost

It's just a med size computer fan and even when I put freezing melted frozen water, it's only 1-2 degrees cooler from the warm room temp. Will escalate the matter with Amazon since this product is non refundable to file a complaint. Highly would Not recommend this supposedly "air cooler"
