Taxidermists Woodshop The Solid Rustic Beech European Skull Mount Pedestal Plaque

This doesn't look anything like the picture, looks like very light oak with no grain.

Nice wood. I mounted a black bear skull on the rustic beech and gave it to the young lady who harvested the animal. It was both unique and beautiful. Several deer skulls were mounted on the oak and no one had any gripes. One of the best products I have used and will continue to do so. Easy to use and well worth the price.

Rustic beech plaque I received has nothing like the grain character pictured.Would be hard pressed to differentiate it from pine or other light colored straight grained wood.Likely wouldn't chance the same mediocre mount by buying this again.

No grain like the picture. It could just as easily be pine as far as I can tell.I guess you have to make your own to get that great wood grain look.

The wood was full of knots and the wood was cracked. Looked like the pieces were made from junk scrap wood

This mount fits the skull well. But I was disappointed when I opened it and it was not 2 toned like the picture. The complete assembly is the light wood.
