This is an assortment of six (6) DARK PURPLE amethyst clusters from Uruguay. Each cluster weighs an average of 6 to 8 ounces. They are backed with grey, igneous rock called basalt. It is the rock where they formed. Then thousands of years later the basalt with amethyst crystals was cut from the mine and cut on the bottom by a huge saw so each cluster will stand up. Uruguayan amethyst is the BEST AVAILABLE.
