Guerrilla Packs Samurai Internal Frame Backpack, Black

I purchased this pack looking for something smaller for a three day trip into the Gila Wilderness. The backpack fit me well and I have a 21 inch torso. It is extremely comfortable and rides close to my body. It is well built with what appears to be quality materials. Overall I am very pleased with the purchase and would recommend this to anyone looking for a quality pack for a low price.

Super comfortable and spacious

I am preparing for Christian missionary trip to a Muslim region. I love to travel light using only backpack and have traveled and hiked countless miles with various packs. But this one for the price seemed kinda cheaply built, uncomfortable and rather poorly laid out so I returned it after waiting several days to see if I would warm up to it. Sad as I love the idea of supporting a small start up company!

this was my second backpack i've ever purchased so i'm no expert. this bag may suit others but i regretted purchasing it. for others who are interested in purchasing this bag, i wanted to share some of my gripes so they have a better understanding of what they're getting.i was abroad when my black diamond epic 45 was stolen so after reading great reviews about the guerrilla online, i ordered it and my sister brought it to me from the states. i used it for a few months and upon my return to the states, when my baggage was overweight, i chose to leave the bag behind instead of paying the overweight fee and have no regrets. here are some reasons why:- the bag at 50L is quite small compared to my black diamond epic 45. mainly because the top lid is permanently attached by the shoulderstraps and there's no way to adjust it. the bag seemed to hold about half of what i carried before with my epic 45.- another reason why it may have been too small for me is that the side compression straps are very short and i had difficulty putting even a yoga mat through it. the key was to strap anything to the sides first before packing the bag. but that would make packing lumpy and uneconomical. if you have anything to strap to the outside of the pack, this isn't the pack for you!- the lid held less than i was used to with my epic 45 as well.- i chose to put some heavy items on the bottom of the bag at one point and may have dropped it on the ground in my travels. a small tear formed on the bottom. i used this bag less than 6 months and moved 10 times with it--not a lot.all that said, here are some pros- the bag is very comfortable on--much more than my epic 45 was. the straps and the back padding make things snug and easy to carry.- i liked the front pocket with added compartments for miscellaneous items. i'm a compartment kind of gal.
