Advanced Thai Yoga Massage: Postures and Energy Pathways for Healing

Expands on his first book.

His first book had a lot of stretches. The second book had a lot of great Ayurvedic insight....I was anxious to receive this "Advanced" book hoping that it would expand on his other books but it has not. The first 67 pages are a lot of review of the sen lines that you see in his other book(s), and every other Thai book out there, with the addition of a few pretty color pictures and a Q&A section. The book, then, jumps from talking about the sen lines to doing all of the standard stretches without much of an explanation of how to integrate the two together. The rest of it contains a lot of the same, or slightly modified, stretches from his other books. If you have other Thai books, or have spent at least one week in any Thai program, you probably know most of the stretches/compressions. The rest are few upper body stretches that are starting to get spotlighted in the (Thai) massage world so if you have not seen them yet, you soon will be bombarded with them.Sorry if I upset a few of you that like Mr. Chow, but I hate stuff that is repackaged to make make more money off of people. I don't know if I would consider even 10 of the 193 pages as being new material

Good book with b&w illustrations and charts. It offers different perspective. Good extra collection for Thai Massage.

This book has been very helpful.It has given me great ideas for advance asanas. It contains routines for different conditions/situations, the only problem is that to put them together you need to have the other two previous books.
