After seeing Selk bags online for the last few years I bit the bullet and decided to get one for this summers festivals... I was nervous but it was absolutely brilliant!Well made, strong seems, compresses really well, plus it means I can wake up in the morning and go 'hunter gather' my food without waiting to get dressed (perfect when hungover)!I would totally recommend this to anyone who camps, although if you are indoorsy then get a thinner one as these keep you toasty warm.THe only downside was the lack of colour choice in the UK, black or yellow. So I had my Green one shipped to a friend in the States who then shipped it to me.

Mmm hmm. This is the befooted bag of my dreams. Ventilation zips are available to prevent overheating, or you can leave them zipped for maximum coziness. The arm slits allow for free hands...though cooking while wearing is not recommended. Too much sleeve drag near hot pans. Not that I learned that from experience or anything.The only modification I made was to seam-rip the little velcro squares from the wrist openings. Those little squares aren't necessary, and they can scratch your hands. Two minutes and a seam ripper later, and poof, they were gone.Another tip: pay attention to the height chart. I'm 5'4" with a long torso and shorty legs, and the medium bag is just the right length for me. Any taller would be seriously pushing it.And now for some bagged corpse pose...

I own the 2g down version. while good, it does not stand up to the hugely increased fit and size of the 4G. its a good price. don't expect this to be anything more than a car camping bag. Its a bit too heavy for serious backpacking. maximum awesome town. one day i hope to upgrade or something.... maaaybe
