iAUDIO U7 (32GB / Black) USB Flash Drive MP3 Player/Voice Recorder, FM Radio

Useful USB music player which, generally speaking, is easy to use. The sound quality is great, I like the bass.The menu is kind of not thoroughly developed. Switching back to the current folder appears to be not possible and the volume control ends at a low level. This is of disadvantage in case of low volume music files. Also, the display is difficult to be read due to size. The plastic case is ok but stable.All in all, I was positively surprised by the player, but qualitywise, it can not live up to the SAMSUNG U7.

This is undoubtedly the worst product I've ever bought on Amazon. The volume button works, and is self-explanatory. All other controls, including "on" and "off" are unlabeled, totally mysterious, and seem to change each time. I loaded an audiobook onto it, but finding it involves random clicks on the single four-cornered control button. An explanation of how to use the control button appears in the attached photo. Can anyone tell me how to find "fm"? On occasion, I've managed to turn it on, and the audiobook pops up, but if I manage to play it (after pushing the button randomly for a while) it's Part 7. How do I navigate to the beginning? Or anywhere. It's completely useless. I'm a long time fan of Cowon devices: I have two others, an iAudio9 and an iAudio x5. Both work fine, or would if they could still hold a charge; I use them plugged into a power source. If I could get those non-replaceable batteries replaced, I wouldn't have bought this piece of instant garbage. And unlike my other Cowon devices which were made in Korea, this one's made in China.

i had the D2, I7, Plenue D and all were great and high quality, then i bought the U7 from the Cowon Ebay store and as usual, it sounded great, but after 6 months the connector part (where you plug the earphones in )malfunctioned. it would only play one side until i moved the connector around , then it would be ok and both ears would work, but once you move, it comes out of one ear only and/or static. but it was already past the return date so i have a one channel mp3 player. and if it did work ok, i would have gave it 5 stars.i also tried several earphones and headphones and same result with the U7, but work fine with my other mp3 players.

never booted correctly. that shouldnt be an issue for an mp3 player, but it is with this one. i was unable to get a hold of anyone to advise on what should be a technical fix and nothing on youtube. i loved another model called U3. great company if they just kept some of their best designs which include older models then i'd keep buying.

Mon exemplaire à été livré sans casque (vu la qualité quand ils sont livrés avec un lecteur c'est pas plus mal en fait). Après coup, le mode d'emploi ne le mentionne pas dans la liste du "package". Je tenais à le préciser, si vous n'en avez pas il faudra en acheter un également.Sinon pour le lecteur en lui même : le son est bon, il est faible (tout dépend de votre casque aussi) à cause/grâce aux lois Européennes sur l'écoute à volume élevé de l'appareil.. en cherchant un peu, on trouve comment passer outre la limitation, mais faites attention à vos oreilles :).Le menu est particulier mais on s'y fait avec le temps, le seul truc qui m'embête c'est qu'il faut faire 2x pause pour mettre en pause la musique : une fois pour allumer l'écran et la seconde pour appliquer la pause. A voir si c'est "corrigé" avec une upgrade du firmware : livré en 1.20 et firmware dispo en 1.23 sur le site de Cowon

Dieser Stick hat es in sich!Man muß sich ein klein wenig in die Gedankengänge des Bedienungsprogarmmierers eindenken, aber nach einigen Schaltvorgängen sollte das schon gehen.Der Klang ist umwerfend (mit den richtigen Kopfhörern, die klugerweise nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten sind, denn da hat jeder seine eigenen Vorlieben), die Einstellungsmöglichkeiten vielfältig, die Optik einmal anders.Ich benutze den Player sehr viel an einem älteren, sehr guten Verstärker über Lautsprecherboxen.Mit Rücksicht auf die erst kurze Gebrauchsdauer kann ich das Gerät uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Certes le son est bon (changer les écouteurs) et la radio capte bien en ville mais pour la navigation, ergonomie catastrophique, comme trop souvent chez cowon. Autonomie correcte une quinzaine d'heures (mp3 codés en 320). Cher au final tout de même...
