Use to cover pond filter

Overall I was pleased with this fake rock cover I purchased to cover up my skimmer box and UV clarifier. It was the best size one I could find (big enough without being too big), and a reasonable price. It is lightweight, making it easy to remove when I need to get to the devices underneath, but heavy enough to not blow over in the wind. My only complaint is the color was supposed to be "tan" and it really is mostly gray. Close enough to what I wanted that I decided it wasn't worth the hassle of returning it.

I had my doubts, but needed to try because I wanted to hide an electrical control and plug. I have it among real rocks and it blends right in. Well done.

No one can tell It’s fake! Looks great, fiberglass is the closest you can get to naturally looking. I had to cover two 12 inch well openings. Was looking for two different shapes as they would be close together. Could not find anything remotely close to it. Anyway, rotated one by 45 degrees, added some gravel padding on one side, and problem solved

Looks real, mixes in well with my varied color other stones around pond wall. Did not quite fit my skimmer cover and I didn't want to go a size larger, as it is quite pricey, so I first removed the manufacturer's cover, replacing it with the faux rock and it is fits fine. I was afraid it would crack or break, as kids love to walk/sit along the pond wall, but it holds up even to my 16 y/o grandson. We'll give it a bit more time and see how it winters in our North Carolina mountain cold and snow and reassess. Maybe five stars?!

Would have given 5 starts, but the inside isn't quite square and isn't the exact measurement on the description. It doesn't fit my skimmer on all four corners, but can make it fit fairly well. A small rock on the top holds it in place, even with 20mph winds. Looks great and blends in well with the rocks on the border of the pond. Overall, I am pleased with the look, especially as opposed to the black original top.

Looks pretty decent and is pretty sturdy. Shipping packaging was a joke though. Just wrapped (barely!) Is thin saran wrap-like plastic with a sticker on it. About 5% of the wrap was still on when it arrived. As result, there were several nicks and scratches and large areas of the paint chipped off along edges. Not worth returning so i will cover edges with dirt, but still, they need a much better shipping method!!!

You would never know this is not a real rock! Fooled even my granite fabricator and he works with rock everyday! I am using this to cover the filtration housing going into my koi pond. Just take care when removing if setting down on driveway or patio. It is fiberglass and can crack if banged on a hard surface.

Had my item in two days! Fake rock looks super real - my husband didn't even notice it on the top of our fountain! Great price! I have seen others priced much higher
