Nancy Drew is perhaps one of the best series to grow for any child. My niece is an advanced reader and these books challenge and engage her completely. Building her collection slowly, but so glad we have this high quality of content to add to her library!

Love Nancy Drew mysteries . They are entertaining and exciting to read no matter your age. My first Nancy Drew was the Secret of the Old Clock.

I loved Nancy Drew books as a child and was looking for something to read on my ipad, so I downloaded a few books. Just as great to read today! The only issue with these Kindle editions is that there are serious typos! Who formatted these? The word "kidnapped" is misspelled frequently and twice the word "having" was spelled "hawing". It's distracting!

I read Nancy Drew when I was younger. I enjoyed them then and I enjoy them now. It's kind of fun to go back and read books I read back in the day. I recommend Nancy Drew books to kids of all ages. I'm beyond tired of thrillers and crazy horrible books. I read a variety of good books - books I read when I was younger and books that are new and interesting to me now. What I won't do is go back to thrillers and crazy horrible books.

Full of excitement and suspense. You won’t have to encourage them to read once they ge t started. Their is a entire series to keep them engaged and reading on car trips and throughout summer. Teachers encourage summer reading to keep Their momentum going until they return to school. Academically it is a great tool!

Has always been one of my favorite series , and this one doesn’t disappoint.The book is hard covered and very sturdy.The story is wonderful and I’ve truly enjoyed it. It was definitely worth the buy.

Since I've read Nancy Drew. I found it interesting, if simplistic - oh to live in that make believe world where criminals confess to, and police officers take advice from a teenage girl who drives a mustang convertible.

Once upon a time there was a girl (attractive, blond and quite bright) who's dated a guy named Dirk, has a friend called Helen and absolutly nothing to do besides solving mysteries no one would care about. A ghost haunts a mansion in the province.The story Carolyn Keene is telling pictures us a time where the so called middle class is quite educated and the ones under them are lovely, act mostly dumb, witness some crimes and are afraid because the bad guys shake threateningly theire fists!It is definitely a time before "Mona Lisa's smile" where girls get married at the lastest they turn twenty one. About time! Meantime they solve mysteries, prepare lunch or supper, entertain old owls and take a walk to enjoy the view! Honestly? but you must not judge too harshly. Nancy Drew is an hero! A female hero! She's quite emancipated! She a strong role model for a girl before our time. You can achieve anything if you take your life in your own hands and pursuits your happiness! The stories of Carolyn Keene are simple and for today out of time but they are an example of the "American Dream"!
