Dockdogs Sky Pilot Series High Performance Wetsuit for Dogs

This keeps my dog nice and warm for cold weather dock diving. The sizes are a litttle funny (run small) and the zippers don't really stay zipped very well, but it does the job. On days that its cold while diving, there is a significant difference when she wears this. Typically she will shiver after a jump, but with this she won't. Competition days can be long and there is a lot of wait time. Even after she dives, i leave this on and she seems to stay warmer. This is a wetsuit type material compared to the pipeline series which is more of a lycra.

If the fit was right I would of given 5+ star. Regardless, I personally think it's a great product (and only one like it) for a dog that is active and brave enough to go surfing in winter. And essential in certain cases (to keep their core temperature up). I just wish they make a size smaller. My 19 LB cheweenie mix is willing to brave the freezing water & wind (chest coverage is great). I had to alter the wetsuit a little for my dog, but like a life vest (that keeps her afloat in thrashing water and that's another review) that I imposed on her, she understood this was keeping her warm & safe and now she insist on wearing it like rest of the gear that people might laugh at, but really on cold days it's essential!

I have a 45 pound vizsla very lean. He can wear a large but around the waist is a little big and the zippers unzip every time he gets out if the water and shakes

zipper broke immediately on my dog ( medium large - 55 pound ) hard to fit her.

Looks and feels good quality but the size was not even close to what was expected. My dog is medium size, I ordered medium and large and still the jacket is only 1/2 way covering the back. Haven't tried X-Large yet.

Great material. I went up a size for my dog, and it was still small through the chest. Would have been acceptable, but the zippers do not stay fastened at all. As soon as he moved the zippers came undone.

Zippers do not stay put. Difficult to get off when wet.

The sizing is off. The Medium barely fit my 40 lbs, very skinny Cattle dog and not the 50 lb Aussie I actually bought it for. I've ordered a Large for him, we'll see if that fits.The quality looks OK. The zippers seem like they'd be a pain, I'll probably just sew them shut. It is also very short down the dog's back, would be better if it had more length to keep more of their body warm.
