This product is pretty flimsy and basically unusable. It's so fragile, that I question whether it's safe or not. Before it's price I would have expected something of higher quality, but the internal components will snap even if you're treating them gingerly.I had my electrician look at it and he said under no circumstances should we use this for a 30 amp circuit.

Typical to this product the restraining feature is greater than others and works as designed. Other than the heavy cable it is easy to install but that is the nature of 4 wire 50 Amp cable. I also like the hand hold that makes removal from the power feed easy since it appears to be balanced. Just to clarify I'm replacing another brand of plug that the cable strain feature didn't work as required thus allowing the strain to be placed on the wire connections that failed and disconnected the power as it melted the lugs to the outer body.

Excellent quality... I am going to use this to hook up my travel trailer. Mounted in a waterproof electrical box on the outside wall of my garage.

I used this on my cord for a two stage 100 gallon air compressor. It was very easy to install and I love the fact that I can unplug the compressor when I am not using it now.

i use this for a large machine, i connected it to a 50amp cord, had to do wiring,. the metal pieces inside this are somewhat easliy bendable, but it has been working for some time for me, so it has been worth it.

As expected - easily created a plug end for a male dryer plug. Product was sturdy, and looks to be good quality.

Works well and is a quality outlet. My RV is happy.

This item worked perfect on our vacation in our Motorhome.
