Olde Thompson Columbia Copper Pepper Mill & Salt Shaker Set

Love it. I saw these at a restaurant and thought they were amazing so I searched on Amazon and found them. So happy with them

I have a brass and copper kitchen, and I keep these sitting next to the stove for "every day". These are a great when you don't what to go with the really fancy ones. They are coated with a plastic-like finish so they do not tarnish like solid copper ones - not even sure if they are really copper underneath but the color is a good match, and the linings are a silicon-like plastic so no worries about corrosion. The grinder is stainless steel I think and has held up very well. I've had a set for 10 years and they still look new, just bought another set for the kitchen table. Easy to clean, and they match my copper pearl KitchenAid mixer. The salt is not a grinder, but a shaker.

Great salt and pepper shakers! They are not metal but that was exactly what I wanted for our breakfast table. A real copper would obviously tarnish, and I did not want to polish more copper. Plus we have 2 toddlers and I wasn't willing to purchase the $100 real copper grinders that my toddlers would destroy within 2 days. These are perfect...not too big, not too small. They look like real copper, even when you are sitting 6 inches away from them. Very happy with my purchase!

The product description is ambiguous at best (yes, copper is both a color and a metal).I fell in love with a true copper the metal version of these at a restaurant and googled Olde Thompson to find them for purchase. The Olde Thompson site takes you directly to Amazon when you click on the product on their site, with no description of the product on the OT site.If you are happy with copper-colored plastic, this might be the product for you. I don't know anything about how they wear or work, as I am returning them unused. I can say that they don't feel heavy in my hand as the metal ones at the restaurant did (though filling them up would make some difference to that).If you are looking for a set made from copper the metal, you will have to keep shopping.

These are nice looking salt and pepper shakers, well the salt is a shaker and the pepper is a grinder. I filled the salt shaker with fine ground sea salt and the pepper grinder with peppercorns. The salt shaker is flawless and the fine ground sea salt comes out in the perfect amount. Not too much at a time which is perfect for me. Heavy salt users would want either a finer ground salt or a little more patience to shake. The pepper grinder is where it loses 1 star for me. It's not overly smooth to grind the peppercorns. I'm not sure if the peppercorns I bought are extra hard or if it's the grinder itself. Don t get me wrong, it works which is why it's still worthy of a 4-star rating in my opinion. It's just seems like it struggles a little bit to grind properly.Most importantly to me, they look great and work well enough to be our everyday shakers. After using these for over a month now, they are a good purchase especially for the price. See additional pictures which will give you scale of size and some close-ups.

This spoon rest is beautiful! It is much bigger, heavier and higher quality than I expected. It is a hammered copper large spoon rest and I will use it a lot. Being a copper collector, it compares well with other items I've purchased.

I love them! They are the perfect size and so pretty!

Seems ok so far, will update if I have any issues with them once I use them. They arrived on time and in good shape.

Looks great from afar however feel cheap in the hands and during use.
