Not as good as AC but better than a fan alone
With no AC in my office in new england during the summer months, and the fact that my office is in an old building with old windows that would require a costly ac unit , i got this thing 1-2 summers ago. I took a reviewers advice and add ice water or ice and it does a decent job even when the humidity is high as long as you position it like right next to your body. Better than nothing and better than a fan alone. Gives a boost to my normal fan in the office so im not dying.

Lasts about 3 days
It worked great for 3 days then deposits built up on the sensor that tells it when it is out of water and shuts off the mister, I took it apart cleaned it and it fouled again after 2 uses (Design flaw"? )

Junk
This cooled very well while it worked.But the cooling function died after about a month; at that point, I had bought a tiny $50 regular fan.Then the fan died after another month; at that point, I had bought a $50 paper weight. I've never had even a $15 box fan from a physical store fail to run for several years before the motor burned out.

This is a piece of plastic with a computer's fan.. It sucks totally. It does not work as it looks I bought two and one came also damaged because it is made out of cheap materials... Temperature does not change neither humidity. FACTS when I tell you that NOT to buy this product is the best option for your need.

Works for me but with ice
The instructions seemed to lack a lot of info but I figured it out. it's a personal cooler (not meant to cool a whole room) so need to sit close to it on hot days and ice in water works best. It did help me last summer and I plan to use it again this summer.

Does not cool anything down. It's not worth the money to purchase this.

This thing barely works
You have to be a few inches away from it to feel anything at all. The misting action doesn't really help either. Get yourself a regular desk fan.
