Leifheit 8-Ounce Straight Canning Jars, Large, Clear, Set of 6

Perfect size to store left overs like grated cheese, chopped onions, sliced apples. Everything stays moist and fresh fruit doesn't discolor. This is my second order of these jars. LOVE them!

I'm really glad I bought these! A really nice deal for several. I use them for scoopable powders. The width is wide enough it makes the scooping super easy, and it holds just enough without being too big and cumbersome. I don't know how airtight they are, but they're working fine for me so far!I only docked off one start because I wish they didn't all have big stickers smack in the middle of the lid.

I started making fruit compote to mix in with yogurt and I wanted a little jar to layer the fruit and yogurt in for a quick, healthy grab and go breakfast. These jars were perfect! I thought that 4-oz was too small and 8-oz was too big, but this jar is the perfect size! I haven't experienced any leaks or problems with the little jars at all. Not to mention, there's no recycle or trash waste...just eat, wash, repeat. Probably going to buy another set so that there is enough for my boyfriend and I for the whole week. Perfect size, great price, and does the job. Definitely recommend!

I got these for homemade baby food and they work pretty well for that. The downside of these is that I would put frozen food cubes in and defrost in the bottle warmer and the glass would spate and break. These are not made for being used with any kind of frozen fooods. They do work for premade though if you are just storing it in the fridge for a couple of days. They hold the perfect amount for a baby and are much cheaper than buying the jars that are labled for baby food (they are the same thing you're just paying more because it has the word baby on it).

Very nice jars but from the picture i expected them to be taller and not so wide. They won't work for what I was going to use them for but they do seem to be quality jars. I had wanted to use them for spices but they are too wide to fit where I wanted. I am guessing the lids are one time use since you are not to reuse a jar lid that has already been heat sealed. I will find a use for the , they seem like quality jars. The picture really needs updated though.

What can be said? It's a jar. Works as a jar.It is a good size, it holds one serving of (insert your favorite treat here).

I couldn't have found a better product for repeated pee tests on the market! I like it because I can wash it in between uses. and the size - OMG - holds PLENTY of fluid and has that tight little lid.... a real bargain for all you recyclers out there!

I bought these jars to use in my Oster Mykonos yogurt maker. The glass bottoms have been perfect for that purpose. They fit the maker, they hold a perfect serving size. I've been using them weekly for several months. I'm back to review because I'm disappointed the inside of the lids has started to show rust spots. Maybe my expectations are too high, but I thought they'd be stainless, or that the anti-rust coating would be more durable. I've started to look around for the successor because I still love making our yogurt in individual serving jars.

I bought this because I'm pregnant and didn't want to spend so much money for brand name cocoa butters with chemicals to fade stretch marks, I wanted to make my own (so I did). I heated my shea butter, cocoa butter, coconut oil and rosehip oil in this jar over the stove (double boiler) and then let it cool. I put it in a cool, dry place to store. After a few days I noticed my homemade body butter was drying out because this has no secure lid. There is no rubber or anything to keep it closed tightly. Luckily after rubbing my hands together my product melts and is no longer flaky, but I do not recommend this.This is good for homemade food (jams, etc) that can stay in the fridge but not good for beauty products.

Perfect for my spices and dry flowers! And beautiful design. I agree with the other reviewer's point about ball's two pieces lid!

These are great. I put gold nuggets and gems in them.Ball is stupid for making 2 piece lids.

Jars were good but one was broken with glass throughout the rest of my package
