Green has a refeshingly goodwriting style, excellent command of the language and knows how to tell a story! The characters---even the minor ones--- are empathetic and their arcs are well crafted. This author seems well read himself, and has created a credible multiverse and rationale for the intertwining of magical with the mundane to create a gripping story about people with whom we can all identify. Just a great read. Looking forward to books 4 and 5!

The story has good pacing and leaves you wanting to know what happens next.The author is good at creating atmosphere, painting a picture in the minds eye of exotic worlds parallel to our own.

The stories are so good you can't help feeling Caleb as the sensitive brother the one I feel is slowly coming into his own power. Will is just such a hero, I have my own I imagination to help me deal with Will. I believe to see him now all buffed and bad ass, women would die to have 1 night with Will. The oldest Valjean he is slowly mastering his power as a spirit mag. I is wonderful journey to watch them grow.

I couldn't put it down! The descriptive writing made me feel like I was there! As I D&D player, I could relate to the way Will thinks. I recommend this series to anyone who likes fantasy!

What an adventure! Travels to another world, death defying challenges, and tragic situations all make for one fantastic series. Well written with fully and masterfully developed characters, this series is well worth your time.

The characters were great. And it was interesting how they all ended up on their own quests, but still wanting to find each other. Some characters that died shouldn’t have though. It was heart breaking. Good read!

I enjoyed the characters and the devotion of the brothers. Multiple worlds and dimensions weaved with a magnificent variety of creatures seen from different perspectives.

A can't put me down read. 3 adventures in one saga. When you think you have it figured out, a new twist comes in to play.
