Clean lines
Tamiya makes fantastic stuff, this little scriber works amazing. Either cutting new (sanded off) panel lines, or clearing seams on your cars, the scribe cuts a clean line. The blade clears clogged or obscured panel lines, providing a solid line and clear definition. A great investment for your hobby.

Great Tool
My only reason for 4 and not 5 stars, is the plastic handle seems like it won’t last forever. Other than that, the design and functionality is great for panel lines. The blades are Olfa Japanese blades, which I have a standard razor knife from them also and it’s great. The handle storage for the blades is great. Definitely a tool all advanced model builders should consider!

Best ive used yet
As many reviews already state its difficult to get a very straight line without some sort of template, but as far as the actual scriber goes it works very well. So far Ive used it for rescribing already recessed lines that were filled during the seam filling process and unlike a knife it will actually remove the material, leaving it sort of coiling upwards. Its also well made, there's a good amount of weight to it and the blade is retractable, being secured by a hand tightened screw. It doesn't take any pressure to scribe the line, the weight of the tool alone is enough to do an excellent job.Again the scriber isnt an automatic answer to all your scribing needs, but it most certainly will be my go to scriber.

Sharp & precise
This is really sharp and has really help with making my panel lines more visible after layers of paint has been applied.
