This is overpriced, and not a complete guide to laptop electronic repairs! This is another scam like all others making money out of the people in need.

Very good, but in some areas this book needs some more thourough explaining.

it shows the process for how to fix laptops, anyone with some kind of mechanical know how can follow the book and do a good job. just need to have the right tools for the job

Before I decided to purchased this book I thought I can learn about laptop chip level repair. But after I read every pages I found that this book lack of schematic diagram explaination, because if you don't understand about block diagram you will can not repair laptop in chip level.its also lack of photo and need more professional page design. Hope you will do better for the next version.Thank you. Sorry for my bad English.

This is a good book but its only focuses on the basic laptop repairing concept this book does not teaches how to repair a laptop motherboard in detail you have understand the signals and the motherboard power sequesnce and which chipset controls which set of components North and South bride in detail you have to know SMD electronics and know how to test them (Resisters, Capacitors, Mosfets etc) and also how to read and trace schematic diagrams. If you buy this book you will still be ended up clue less if you want to go chip level in laptop repair the best place to learn laptop motherboard chip level repair is to go to India or do a Google search for online chip level training on laptop motherboard in India if you really want to learn chip level repair. It may cost a little more but its worth spending the money you will never regret it.

I bought this book "World's First Complete Guide to Laptop & Notebook Repair" and I loved it. I learned a lot from this book. It is gives you a step by step knowledge on what to do to repair your laptop. It is not that basic that you get bored. Still has a very easy to understand language that all type of people can learn from. If you have a basic knowledge of Electronic and would like to step into laptop repair world, I recommend this book highly.

He said that this is better than the U Tube videos. I don't feel he goes into enough detail about motherboard circuit repair.

I was very disappointed in this book. There was nothing in this book that I did not know. There was not enough information, no demonstrations, and is elementary and basic. Not worth the money and is over priced. Do not purchase this book if you really want to learn how to repair laptops. Look for Scott Muellers books on laptop repair. They are much superior and you will learn how to repair laptops. I felt like I was ripped off!
