I am a furry and wanted to try my hand at one day drawing my own character and purchased these books. I like how this one focuses on digital art and shows some techniques that can be used

I heard about this book through some of the artists, who I follow on DeviantART. I decided to buy it to help improve my furry art skills. I didn't realize before I bought it that this particular furry book focuses more on digital media and how to shade things. This will be helpful to me, as I do use digital media sometimes, but it doesn't offer much insight into designing or creating your furry characters. It's mostly a coloring tutorial. Nonetheless, I am very happy with this book and the artists they chose to contribute artwork to it. I would definitely buy this for anyone interested in the digital side of furry art.

Let me start off by saying this is a great book with tons of information! but do keep in mind that this book is recommended for digital artist only. I bought the first two books (draw furries, and draw more furries)which I recommend instead. The only reason why I bought this one was so I can reference new ideas in creating new characters. unless you have Photoshop or a drawing tablet you wont really get much out of it. you will just have a book with pretty pictures, rarely any "how to" draw with pencil demos, its mostly about color and texture. 95% of the book is all about digital.

I have the other two books in this series. I mainly bought it to complete the set. I was surprised at the writing. Insight into lighting, color, and digital art methods. The book gives you the next step to making great furry art!

Got this for my daughter, she was so excited to finally get it. She really seems to enjoy it and says it helps her with her own drawings..

Beautiful book lot of help to beguiners and intermediate artist. Clear explanations and awesome selection or art and artist as well.

Very good book for someone just learning about Furries and wanting to learn how to draw them. JW

It's good, but not quite what i was expecting. From the title and description I was expecting a book full of tutorials and help for someone new, or moderately experienced in drawing Furries. Lessons on drawing tails, claws, ears, etc etc, all those sorts of things. Instead, there are 25 tutorials for various Furries from start to finish,and while they do cover the basics, even computer work, the rest of the book is given over to info about the artists featured, their work spaces and examples of their work. While it will still be helpful, it's a little misleading, to be honest.

Disappointed with the content of this book, it's mainly based upon digital work. Not being a digital artist, this is disappointing. Might come in use someday.

Great book. Gives you place of examples and tips about drawing furries or even animals.If you into this and/or an artist that likes drawing fantasy, this is a good book.

I own 3 books by this author now and it has helped me quite a bit, I'm still not as good as I'd like to be but I'm getting there.
