Fold Away Lightweight Walking Stick / Cane and Seat from Flipstick

I love it. I'm 230lbs and 5'6" and it's sturdy enough for me. Easy to use and so helpful. Collapses and pops together so easily, perfect for traveling with it.

This is a handy little item and I will use it but with one problem. The concept is sound and the product is well built, but if you are on the short side 5'10" it might be a little tall in the saddle for you. I find that it is necessary to lean the bottom out in order for the seat to meet my seat , if you get my drift. This is not a deal breaker but some kind of adjustment would make this a perfect product for everyone. The only other flaw is that the seat itself is hard as a rock. If there were an optional pad that could slip on over the seat that would make for a much more comfortable experience. Would I buy it again? Yes I think that it is one of the best products out there for the price and it folds up and can be placed in its bag in seconds.

This product is probably good for young and abled but nor for someone with balance problems.

I have 3 different kinds of cane chairs, this is my only mono pod. It's definitely more portable, so I"m more likely to take it when I don't think I'll need the tri-pods. For sure it's not quite as restful as a real seat from a 3-legged cane chair, but for my hip issues, it's awesome. I've had several people want to try it but I do not recommend it if you don't have good balance. I've used it on interpretive walks (I can hike, it's the standing that kills me) and almost gone over when I wasn't paying attention or trying to use it too quickly along with binoculars on uneven ground, etc. so I wouldn't want to suggest it to slower, older people. Your legs will be the "other two legs of the stool". But again, for me, it's just great. I've used it on pavement, hard sand, trails, etc.

Love it. I'm an ol geezer. Need 2 canes to walk very far & with this (plus 1 regular cane) I can hike & rest whenever I need to. Other seat/canes I've tried make a good seat but a lousy cane. Great as it is, it could be better. I improved it a lot by adding foam to the handle & seat plus a lanyard. See photo. I used rubber cement & reinforced the handle's foam with electrical tape. Lucked out that the cane was the right length for me. Be nice if they sold it in different lengths.

So easy to extend and collapse, seat is easy to balance on, functions well as a cane. I would totally recommend purchasing except for the strap on the bag pulled lose after only 3 days of use. I was super disappointed because we were traveling abroad and needed it to last for the 3-week trip. Without the bag, the cane doesn’t really stay folded up and compact.

I am 5'2" , this product is to tall. for me

Stable and comfortable for this 6'-1" senior and takes little space. Use when I walk the golf course - for those times when waiting is prolonged.
