amazing stuff
I've bought this to redo some small inside stuff Had it in the Z for over a year now no issues at all. I've used a roll to wrap the hood and people think it's real. Use a heat gun and you can wrap pretty much anything. Great price and amazing stuff for the price Will need to get more soon as I want to wrap the rear hatch next

Worked Great
I bought this to wrap my dash trim. Used an old hair dryer and a squeegee from a previous vinyl kit to install. Only lessons learned was don't heat it up too much or pull on it too much when you're doing corners as it tears fairly easily. Looks great and I'm getting lots of compliments!

Low quality, low price, bad vinyl. Spend the extra buck.
Purchased couple rolls of this vinyl a while back, tried applying it to the car and it rips very easily when trying to adjust it. Maybe I'm no expert in installing vinyl, but this vinyl is very brittle, you sure have to get it right from 1st time. The look of carbon fiber is great, but the quality of the vinyl is really bad. Better spend the extra for higher quality vinyl that can be properly stretched and applied.

Be prepared to work with it.
Product arrived in good condition. This is a thick vinyl, which takes a bit of coaxing to conform. I left it in the sun to warm up for a while. I used this to wrap the roof of my car.It wasn't the easiest thing to work with, but working on a convex surface as I was, I don't know that anything would have been perfect. I trimmed it to approximate size, used some soapy water and went to work. It helps to stretch as much as you can when laying it down on a three dimensional surface. I didn't do corners or scoops, but I am certain that a heat gun would be required to get the product to lay perfect. It took about four hours overall to do the roof, with more than an hour spent on the final corner of the roof. The end results are nice looking, and the vinyl has a nice texture and feel to it.

very nice. but if your hood has contours cut into smaller strips. In My Opinion.
great product, as advertised. but when installing i found it easier to put on by cutting into 2 ft strips and lining it up. my hood has several contours and was difficult to apply otherwise. I messed up my first try by trying to put it on as one piece.

Just OK !
This vinyl does not have the air release channels for air bubble removal which also prevents wrinkles during installation which makes it very difficult to work with. I have applied vinyl wrap many times using a more expensive wrap (3M DI-NOC) with perfect results but I was trying to save some money & this was 1/5th the price... Might work better for smaller applications but for a auto hood, not so good.

Worked well for interior trim wrap
Used for my interior trims of my bmw e90. Must use a heat gun. Didn’t have any trouble wrapping my trims, it’s thick enough it didn’t rip at all when installing. Will update if something happens to it over time.

Waited 2 weeks for Garbage! You get what you pay for
I bought this because I couldn't find this size sheet in 3M® 1080... waste of money. this doesn't feel like vinyl at all. it's very thin and plastic feeling. rips very easily. absolutely no texture to the carbon fiber and doesnt look real whatsoever. the ONLY reasons I have 2 stars instead of 1 is because it does have a decent adhesive if you can get the vinyl to mold where you want it. also, for being plastic feeling, it does stretch surprisingly far, BUT it's a very fine line. it distorts the fibers more than other vinyl and just a little too much heat and it rips without warning.. I'd rather pay 3 times the price for 3M® products which I've used many times with excellent results.. TRUST ME, if you're going to use a cheaper alternative to REAL carbon fiber, DON'T use a low quality cheap product. it's going to be a pain and look terrible! USE 3M® 1080 or di-noc.
