I had an old auto-switch device that worked fine. But eventually it took a dump. I bought this from the reviews being relatively positive. First I am going to say that I have a couple of modern Sony brand devices I need to use with it. The good things... It had some weight to it. It is a small footprint. It is a pleasant looking device. The bad things... No power supply. Just a USB cable. USB cable is only a couple feet long. Never auto-switched once.I read the instructions and then realized from reading that this was not a good sign. The instructions were in broken and poor grammatical English.I found a way to power it and it barely reached the outlet. When reading the instructions it mentioned that if it doesn't auto-switch, my devices are CRC incompatible. Whatever "CRC" stands for. Well let's see here now... I have quality Sony devices and then there is this questionable device that appears to be something cheap from China or something, which I gathered from reading the instructions. So according to the "instructions" (using the term lightly) it appears they are trying to justify that it may not work like it should and seems to blame your quality Sony equipment rather than their device.I think that rather than my quality stuff not being compatible with this thing, it is more like the other way around. So I am going to have to return it and I do not return things unless they just don't work well at all. I would normally exchange something if I felt that it was just a fluke that I received a defective one. But I have a bad feeling about this thing and I don't think a replacement is going to work any better.So it is back to shopping for another one I guess.

I have a TV mounted over a fireplace, so we decided to have the HDMI cord run through the wall (to the cable box) so it wouldn't be seen. This product allowed me to add an Xbox (which we also use as a DVD/Blu-ray/4k player) to the TV without having to run an extra HDMI cord through the wall. This switch itself is very small (takes up very little room), and comes with a small remote that is very easy to use. My wife (who LOATHES multiple TV remotes) even figured out how it all works in about 10 seconds. Picture/signal quality to the TV is great. 10/10 would recommend!

I had doubts on reordering a new HDMI switch that outputs 4K HDR Dolby Atmos, but I took a gamble on this product. I made the right choice. The picture on all three ports is beautiful and the Dolby Atmos really works. Overall I am really glad I took a gamble on this product. The last switch I ordered stopped working within hours and it was a such a pain to return it, I ended up taking it as a loss. I have had this current switch for almost a month now and have had no issues: remote works great, the channels/ports have no lag when switching, and it was a very easy set up.

I love the product. It has some latency when changing ports. That is the reason for 4 our of 5 stars. With that said. It works as discribed. Allows ability to attach multiple (3) devices to single HDMI port on TV. Really a good product.

This is a great little device. It is metal not plastic and feels substantial. The key feature it had for me was the ability to lock on to one input if needed. Most units like this will switch over automatically to whichever of the 3 inputs is the last one turned on but I wanted more control. This box will do that if you want, but it can also be set to stay locked onto whichever of the 3 inputs you select and stay there till manually selected. Picture and sound quality are flawless.

While it's great to be able to route my Switch, PS4, and PC through one device the device isn't reliable. I'll be playing the PS4 on one channel and all of a sudden the picture goes out because the device thinks my PC has been turned on and switches over accordingly. This is maddening. In the same way I'll be watching TV without using any of the plugged in devices and my TV will keep asking me if I want to swap over to HDMI input. The device thinks something is on and keeps feeding signal to the TV. So I have to turn it off to watch TV or get up and manually swap the device channel to keep it on the PS4 input. Bottom line is the auto switching is just too sensitive. I'm actively looking for a replacement.

Product works as intended. I’ve only had a few instances where the Apple TV doesn’t pass through correctly and I have to disconnect the HDMI, but I think this is an issue with the Apple TV controlling the power to the TV and the Apple TV HDR support.I keep this device powered 24/7 and the power blue LED light is bright enough to light the whole room, which is easily fixed with a black electrical tape.

I don't like that you have to power this with a phone adapter. The cable is a barrel on one end to the unit and then usb on the other. The images show a wall wart adapter and that is not what I got. It is misleading.The device itself does the job well and for that I can't complain. So I will give it an average rating of 3. The misleading photos of the item with a proper AC adapters is not what I got. Rather a weird USB to barrel cable.
