Update: so I received the size 9 which fit my foot length but the 9 leaves a large gap at the ankle and looks stupid. Sending back for a refund. Disappointed because the style is cute.I am a true size 8 womens shoe size. I'm returning for a size 9 and they should fit. My large toe in the size 8 hits the front of the shoe. The shoe it self appears well made, cute and light weight.

Overall, it is a cute and lightweight shoe. However, there was a nail in one of the shoes that I believe is to attach the bottom sole to the rest of the body that did not get flattened correctly. This is dangerous potential cause of injury. I can put another small insole foam under the toe part to alleviate the problem. I would return it if I didn't already wear it out for a whole day before realizing the issue.
