Great look, quality, and price!!!!!! Go Chicago Skates
I love these Chicago Skates. I bought them for my niece who wanted a black skate. She has had them for a couple of months and they are wearing well. I skate with her, so I see her with them on almost weekly. They are comfortable, fit well, and a great value for the money. The wheels and ball bearings spin easily once you adjust them a little. They include a tool to tighten or loosen the wheels based on how tight you want your wheels. The only challenge is that the tool is not strong enough to complete the job, so by wheel two, I had to use my own tools to tighten the wheels. However, it was well worth it and my niece loves her skates and uses them all the time. I would definitely recommend Chicago Skates.

Amazing birthday present! Best skates for the guys.
The media could not be loaded. This was a very affordable and nice pair of skates to guy as a birthday gift for my friend. The box was really big and wrap with amazing care. So they are really cute for guys so if you look for a pair these are the ones. 10/10 !

Forget it, just don't bother.
The skate material is indeed plastic, but for the price, it's not a surprise. They do run about a half size larger than rental skates of the same size, so be aware. I'm not returning mine (again), I'll just wear thicker socks. The bearings are pretty bad; when I got mine, the wheels would not even spin. One thing is that they were WILDLY over tightened. The picture is what happened to the included wrench after taking off eight of the nuts. I wasn't manhandling the thing, they were just on crazy tight. Also, the bearings appear to be packed with glue as they just will not turn at all. I think someone else said to put some solvent in, then oil. This is a good idea, I was just lazy, so I put a few drops of fancy PTFE (teflon) based oil in and they were able to spin freely. While this is probably fine, I would still recommend replacing the bearings. This is very much a case of you get what you pay for. Use your savings on the skates for some Reds bearings. If not, you'll be fine, but they're a world of difference. The bearings in these wheels aren't even caged, so you can hear the balls inside of the bearing rattling around and hitting each other. Not super smooth.I have yet to hit the rink yet, so time will tell if they are comfortable and hold steady. Last set of cheap skates that had plastic trucks were terrible (different brand) and made skating miserable. Rental skates were far better. Hoping these will be different.EDIT: got out to the rink two separate times, wood and concrete floors. These things are simply unusable, they made the simple act of going in a straight line a hateful experience. They wander all of the place. I have changed out the wheels for demons and added reds bearings. Still entirely unusable. I just don't think you can get a pair of skates for less than $150 that will actually work. Rental skates are 100% better than these things. Don't trust all the good reviews, they are not good skates, they are defective out of the box. Sending mine back and getting some sure-grips.

Defective product, wheel bearing material failure after a few hours use
On my third day, approximately 1 to 2hrs use each day, the wheel bearings on the right foot front right wheel failed and dislodged. Sent me crashing to the floor and causing a pileup of skaters. Bodily injury to me and other skaters from both impact with floor and each other. Close examination of the axle and wheel indicates catastrophic failure of the wheel bearings. The left foot front left wheel bearings also failed, exhibiting the same defect and 1/8" of wobble, and posed an imminent risk of dislodging (had the other not failed first). The other 6 wheels also show signs of material failure and exhibit 1/8" of wobble after a few hours of normal use by a normal sized man. Yes I am big, but still less than the recommended weight for my size...that's why I ordered size 11. The manufacturer should anticipate user weight to increase with foot size. Read other reviews. I am not the first. Manufacturers should design products for a factor of safety of 2 to 5; considering that all eight wheels/bearing sets are showing damage and or failure after a few hours of normal use I would say this is not a coincidence. These skates are ideal for beginner to advanced skaters looking to get injured or simply want to pretend to skate but never try. All others should consider buying something else. See my photos. P.S. I am a structural engineer, often hired to do failure analysis reports... this product can not possibly be designed properly for its intended user. Amazon delivered promptly and the package was not damaged. Amazon accepted my return including free shipping. As of time of posting review - no compensation for bodily injury from Amazon or manufacture. I emailed the manufacturer, NSG, but received no reply, as of the time of posting this review. But, hey... I am just one customer. You should read reviews. My post is based only on my experience. Others may have different experiences; 2.2 Million people enjoyed their Ford Pinto and only 27 to 180 deaths as a result of the manufacturer's defect. Choose wisely. Good luck. Also note I had to rate it one star in order to get this review posted for your benefit. I actually would not give it a star at all

Good value . Looking forward to trying them.

Sizing is a little large.
These skates are a little on the lower end when it comes to their quality of build and components. Wheels are quite soft and so is the boot material. They are also a little hard to size properly.
