Catches big hog snapper (FL coast)
Hog snappers are suspicious and hard to catch on a hook and line, and we weren't having much luck with live shrimp. So we tried this lure and almost right away caught a huge 18" hog snapper (in the Gulf of Mexico near Tampa, FL coast, Feb '21). The kid who caught it was a novice, and this catch just made the whole trip worth it for everyone. As far as durability, we've only used it on this one trip so far, and it looks brand new still. Another reviewer mentioned that he had used it to catch a sheepshead once and it got a bit mangled ... have you ever seen the teeth on a sheepshead? They use them to pry off and crunch on barnacles (basically like eating salty rocks). I'm not sure that any lure is going to tangle with a sheepshead's powerful chompers and come out unscathed. So maybe use actual live fiddler crabs or shrimp for sheepshead, ok?This lure has won awards and taken the fishing world by storm in Australia, but this makes them a little on the pricey side for the US market. I have a friend who is crazy about fishing but I knew they would personally balk at the price for an unknown-to-them lure. So I bought this little brown crab lure as part of their Christmas present, and they were thrilled. This lure comes in different colors and sizes, so it's easy to buy an assortment for a friend/loved one. This is the future of crab lures, they work, and they haven't flooded the US market yet - win, win, win!

So natural
These things are the bomb! Looks amazing and natural, the colors are good but the crabs are a bit big for my liking! These will be deadly on anything that will eat a 2.75” crab!

Works but...
Caught one sheep head so far so it works but the legs are already coming off! Unacceptable for a lure that costs this much and is treated with care and stored properly
