Outstanding
This book is a tear jerker and as one of the people who commented on the book said it should be movie. I saw about two thirds of the EWTN video of this book during the right to life weekend. I decided to read this book. It reminded me of how I still fail and falter. I came out of the experience of seeing the video and reading the book that if God could forgive this lady, AND I DO MEAN LADY, He has and will forgive me of all the sins I have confessed and I can forgive myself. i would like to meet Ms. Sandoval one day to personally thank her for this. She tells the stark truth about abortion, chastity, Planed Parenthood and their eugenic lies. She will go through a lot to share this message, but it must be shared. The book is stark in detail of the horrors of the abortion procedure. THANK YOU MS. SANDOVAL FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART.

I like her story, but there is something that really BOTHERS ME.....
....it's with her parents. I continue to be amazed at parents who choose their boyfriend/girlfriend over their child. My heart hurts EVERY TIME this poor girl is left feeling like she is without a home - literally - and will not be believed or supported/stuck-up for. I am on page 140 right now and - yet again - this poor girl is allowed to be treated like dirt by the "new wife". Really? I've lived long enough to know not to say, "I would never do that", but truly, reading this over and over is really getting to me. In a world that is consistently crazy and cruel, home should be that one protective and loving place we can all retreat to. With the author, Patricia, her home-life has been unstable most all of her life. Oh sure, there were periods of love, comfort and nurturing BUT they were always short-lived until one parent "got a bug" and took off with a new boyfriend or someone decided to re-marry and then she was "out on her keester". Is it any wonder the girl had the problems like she did? When you, as a parent, have chaos and instability in your home, don't wonder why your child/children "go off the rails". And for goodness sakes, STOP BEING SO SELFISH and putting your boyfriend/girlfriend ahead of your son or daughter. Men/women come and go, but your children you can never replace. I will finish the book, but I had to get that off my chest.

I imagined that it would be a good book to recommend to any number of young men ...
I picked up this book because I had heard the author give her witness a couple of years ago at a parish and was very moved. I imagined that it would be a good book to recommend to any number of young men and women who were struggling with similar issues. However, after I read it (in 3 days!), I realized that Patricia's message was for me as much as anyone I might recommend it to. Not only is it a story of her transformation, but it is a reminder of the Father's patient and unconditional love. I highly recommend.

A must read!!!
Wow! I was worried this would be a cheesy 'accept Christ in your heart' story. Not at all! This is Not your average conversion story. This is an incredible story of childhood trauma,a broken family, personal encounters with Christ and Mary that are beautiful, rejection of faith, turning to drugs, sex, abortion, new age paganism, and refusing help, reconciliation, and finding faith and turning herself over to God completely.Patricia is relatable to everyone... she struggles with vanity and self image like most women. She gets angry and lashes out at those she loved. Several times she is oppressed by the devil and even attacked physically which few saints have even experienced. For example, she is attacked by satan in her bedroom at night and it took st Michael, appearing, who cast the devil away. This occurred as she began living as a catholic. This story takes us on her incredible journey, you'll cry, maybe laugh, and be enthralled from beginning to end.

A great saint in the making
TRANSFIGURED is one of the most amazingly honest, heart wrenching and inspirational stories you will ever read! I couldn't wait to learn what happened next! I found myself reflecting on my own journey, on God's truth, and his continued mercy in my life.Sadly, truth is painfully difficult to find when we look to today's world for answers, especially when it comes to navigating broken relationships and dating. The wonderful thing about this book - there's truth on every page for the reader to digest!Patricia's story will leave you in awe of the power and beauty of a child-like faith in God and trust in Divine Mercy, despite our brokenness. I'm thankful the Church continues to give us the gift of dramatic conversion stories and examples of great saints in the making!

Over the top
I don't know.... I was very excited to read this book after listening to Patricia interviewed on a podcast. But this tale was just so over the top... I cannot help but question the accuracy, and dare I say, truthfulness of it all. I believe in miracles and God's ability to work through us. I'm a devout Catholic. But honestly, in addition to how over-done every single story was, it just seemed like the focus was more on the fame and accolades than on the supposed mission. In the end, that is what rubbed me the wrong way.

Save the Children
I've listened to her testimony several times & it has touched my heart every time. I am against abortion, human sex trafficking :& pornography. I am glad I didn't get an abortion bcuz my heart would have been scarred too. With over 65 million babies murdered in the USA alone, that should wrench anyone's heart! There are so many children that have disappeared thru human sex trafficking into pornography, prostitution, slavery & Satan worshipping. The body of Christ is NOT doing enuf to protect God's children! They DON'T even talk about it behind the pulpits! Many vote according to what they think is right for the women & DON'T vote according to what the Bible says!!! They will have to stand before God Almighty some day & give account of them going against His word!

Are you ready to read this testamony?
What a great read! After seeing her film giving a talk, I so wanted to read her book. It was a page turner! Now I've immediately started reading it again! Very well written. This time I want to watch the video links at the end of some chapters. This book gave me a fresh outlook on what young people can experience and go through. Possibly not everything that's spoken about here! I am so glad I came across this lady's testimony video + then was able to buy her book. For me it was a bit expensive, but found it really worth every penny.I imagine teens would enjoy this book, it could provoke many a discussion!
