Bed of Roses - Set of Two - 20" X 20" 95% Feather / 5% Down Pillow Inserts - Made in USA

Hi - These pillow forms are 5% down and that somehow makes a significant difference in loft on a less-that-goose-down budget.. One added thought, learned only after a lot of reading...I decided to make beautiful pillows an "art form" in my living room. I selected a half-dozen images including ones by Klimpt, Vincent van Gogh, and other artists. The colorful pillow "cases" are 18x18 zippered and I discovered you need 20x20 pillow inserts to properly fill out the pillows. The added size worked well!

I should have checked the down content -- I was expecting more "fluffy" pillows and these are quite stiff. I didn't realize how much the down percentage mattered. Someone who doesn't care about how squishy the pillow is might be happy.

Lovely cozy pillows that fit very nicely in the covers I bought for them. I appreciate that they're made in the US. They have an essence of the smell of the bird feathers - kind of a powdery chicken coop scent that dissipates eventually so don't worry when you open them, if the smell bothers you. I actually kind of like it.

They worked very nicely for my 18 inch pillow shams I use on my sofa. They worked much better than the18 inch inserts I bought the first time around . I always size up now when I order pillow inserts.

They are ok... not filled enough

Great pillows, very full, nice quality Made in USA. Purchased these for an order I was filling. Double-check the labels on your tag though - the first set that was sent had a label with "MADE IN CHINA" in caps at the bottom, and clearly the quality of pillows was different - the MADE IN CHINA pillows were flat, lacking any kind of fullness, and the encasement fabric was different/cheaper than the Made in USA pillow encasement. Perhaps this would seem like nit-picking to some, however, the product homepage on Amazon clearly labels this as MADE IN USA. Luckily I purchased these through Amazon and was able to get the "mistake" corrected quickly and the finished product was perfection. Would definitely recommend the MADE IN USA pillows!!!!

The pillows are heavy and fully stuffed but they smell like a chicken coop. I put the pillow inserts to new pillow cases and set them against the bed pillows on the bed. The chicken smell was transferred to the bed pillows. I tried airing them out but still smell like chickens.

Like the old saying goes " you get what you pay for " I just got 2 20 x 20 bed of roses pillows today on 3-25-15 and I love them, I don't smell any barn chicken feather scent others have complained actually they have a soft mild baby powder scent and they are so soft yet solid at the same time extremely comfortable. I love them so far but we will see how they hold up. and I will be back to give an update in the future but for now the pillows get 5 stars and totally worth the money. MADE IN U.S.A. 5 STARS FOR THAT ALONE..... LOVE EMMM
