surprisingly good little knife!
I thought this whittler would be junk because it was only 7 bucks. But it's a great deal for the money. the Main blade is nice and thick, the two small blades are really small but great for detail work. it's actually a pretty big knife: 4 inches closed, with a 3.75" main blade. but it has that traditional cigar whittler smoothness in your pocket. decent fit and finish. I really like this knife and I'm getting a couple more because at this price you can afford to abuse or lose them.

Absolutely beautiful knife. Love the "cracked ice" design
Absolutely beautiful knife. Love the "cracked ice" design. The blades are fairly sharp but could use a bit more sharpening. Great price point, however, the smallest blade is extremely difficult to open. Also when opening and closing the blades I feel some grinding / rubbing. I plan to add a drop or two of WD-40 to see if this will help the blades open and close a little smoother and easier. Overall nice little knife, can't beat it for the price.

just need to use it and break it in
For the price, it's a decent deal. Not blown away by this knife right out of the box, though. It looks nice, except for the inset on the handle being a smidge off-center.The largest blade opened easily but had some "crud" between it and the handle which I had to clean out. The hinges on all three blades were VERY tight. I have lubricated it with some 3-in-1 silicone oil, and using it and working the hinges is helping a bit with the tightness. I think it's also a matter of the "spring" part of the hinge getting loosened up with use and time. I just need to use it and break it in.The blades were nice and sharp right out of the box, so there's that. The handle fits comfortably in my hand, and the knife has a nice heft to it. It's well-balanced, and I've already put it to some use. I'm not sure if this will become an every day carry item or not, but it's still lovely. I hadn't planned on that being the use, as it was purchased for learning to whittle.

Dont buy! Junk!
The white plastic side is only glued on. Not rivited like it appears. One side fell off just from being in my coat pocket. Very cheap knife. Better product at the dollar store!

Had low expectations but now that I have it I love it! Blade is super tight so it won't collapses to easy. Looks great and feels good in your hand. Smooth edges when folded so it won't screw with my phone.

Good low budget knife
Yes it is made in China and it is not a $100.00 German made Hen & Rooster. But for a cheap knife I carry on me while working on the homestead it has been holding up just fine. I use it to open feed bags and boxes and trim off dead growth from plants and other stuff that scratch and stain the blades of knives. I use this knife as a work knife and save my Hen & Rooster for my Sunday going to Church carry, I have used this knife now for about six weeks and it has worked fine. The finish on mine was fine for a low cost knife and I never expected it to meet the level of craftmenship of a $100.00 knife. It looks good and it works so if the budget is tight this knife will meet most peoples needs.

Coltellino tascabile
Consigliato
