Consuelo Gran Crema - Italian Coffee in whole beans - 2 x 500g

I was expecting a lot more from this. There is no smell/aroma when you open the bag. Even when the beans have been ground the smell is just about there. My partner who's worked in a coffee shop described the smell as that of the bin where all the used coffee grounds go. Whether this batch was off I don't know. It was definitely in date. The coffee looks great and gives a great crema when making espressos. But that's about it.

These seem good value and are not too bad for americano but have a slightly bitter taste in a latte in my opinion. I have tended to use only 1 shot rather than 2 so that's probably a positive thing. We will use them but probably wouldn't go for them agaim.

Really nice coffee - has a bit of an acidic smell when ground but the end flavour is really nice. I will be looking to buy more and so far I’d say it’s worth the money and has convinced me to buy beans and grind them myself as opposed to buying pre ground.

Bought these out of curiosity - how bad could beans at under £5 for 500 grams be?Bland, is the answer. There's nothing offensive about the resulting espresso, but it's got little in the way of flavour. If all you want is something better than instant, these will do the job; otherwise, spend a bit more on some higher quality beans.

This is a great balanced coffee, for anytime of the day. Smooth and strong with an excellent Crema...I will be buying again.

Sadly the flavour doesn't live up to the description. It's not bad but has a strange smell and aftertaste.Took ages for delivery, seemed to have got lost and no one knew where it was??

Bought on a Black Friday offer and is really a good value of money. The flavor is authentic and rich, which is as good as Starbucks coffee bean, but much cheaper. I think I will subscribe this coffee bean next time to save more. A good amazon brand worthy of a try.

Good coffee for the price, but the flavour could have been better. It does have a bitter aftertaste like other reviewers are saying.
