Good Product for Ballroom and Latin Dancer
I bought this product because I am a ballroom/latin dancer. I can point my left foot a lot better than I can do my right one. So I needed something that could fix it. I have used this product for about two weeks (20 minutes a day while watching TV) and the points on my two feet are now identical. Consequently, I am happy with the results. Now, I am working on increasing the point on both feet.

It would be better if I can make it stationary in one spot ...
Hard for kids to use. It would be better if I can make it stationary in one spot and bolted to the floor

Perfect
I have tried another softer foam/wood.cloth foot stretcher, and wasn't satisfied with its operation. This one is great, and absolutely will stretch your foot from almost a standing or seated position. There is an arch support where your foot rests, and overall, it just feels like a perfect stretch. Fabulous!

great product
My daughter has been using for a over a year and has seen great improvement in her arch. every day use for 5-10 minutes has really made a change

Too weak and ineffective
Having used it for nearly 6 years in my early career, I find that it's really just too weak (even when the springs are set to the strongest position) to increase the shape of the arch.I don't recommend this for most dancers, unless possibly for the very young with softer bones, but even then it may be too weak to really produce any increase in arch..

and I must say that at first I was happy not to have spent the money
I have a used one I picked up off ebay cheap, and I must say that at first I was happy not to have spent the money. I thought it was complicated, painful and hard to use. I'm stubborn, so I kept at it. As my feet have slowly stretched over time, this is the device I need to be able to feel any stretch. The springs are super tough and unforgiving and will force you to stretch. It's really helped my increase the flexibility in my feet and ankles tremendously, and paired with the proper strengthening exercises can definitely be used to train your feet to be pretty and danceresque. If mine were to break at this point I'd certainly be tempted to get another.
