I have never really used a brush for my hair. I have naturally curly hair and a very sensitive head and usually use a pick or wide tooth comb. I saw the reviews and thought I would try. It took a few times to get used to the handle and how it felt in my hair. It takes more effort for wet hair, but it doesn't hurt, and when my hair is dry, it comes through nicely. It does not cause any frizz or electricity, very gentle. I do lose some strands of hair, but that is normal. The brush isn't pulling out the hair. I have come to like this brush very much. It also looks like it will last forever, the "bristles" are very strong and durable.

LOVE this. It works great for both detangling and on fine hair. Granddaughter had a tangled mess and we didn't want to cut her long hair to get rid of it. This worked beautifully and took only 2 hours to get a gigantic tangled mess back to normal hair. Hair loss was minimal compared to cutting it out and she never fussed or cried when we used it. Definitely would buy it again and highly recommend to others.

We LOVE this brush! My 2 1/2 year old daughter has very fine hair that typically looks like the photo I attached to this review in the mornings. Without using a de-tangler in her hair, getting a comb or brush through her hair is typically torturous (for her and me!) This brush works - I have no clue how - but she doesn't cry or run away from me when I come at her mop of hair!

I am very happy with this brush. I bought it for my granddaughter who has a very sensitive head. When anyone tries to brush her hair with a comb or regular brush and she screams and throws a fit. I finally bought her one of these and she now brushes her hair, by herself, every morning with zero complaints. The uneven bristles make the difference in having a pleasant time with your precious child (and yourself) or a hair pulling painful match. This one is listed at a great price and her favorite color.

The brush works well for tangles. My only problem with is that the brush is small, smaller than it looks in the picture. It is hard to manage my long hair with the small brush. It's probably more designed to buy to use on your child. If I had someone that could sit in brush my hair everyday the size would not be a problem. It is just hard for me to get it all the way down my long hair myself.

This is a pretty little brush. It is a vibrant pink color and was a great choice for my daughters' hair. It works the best for my younger (6 year old) daughter's hair which is straight and not thick. I mostly bought it for my older (9 year old) daughter's hair due to her sensitive scalp, however, her hair is thicker and is hard to brush through since the bristles are a flexible plastic material. Hence, the 4 stars.

If you are buying this because you need a detangling brush for your kids, you're better off going with the name brand Mercier brush. That brush has "bristles" that sort of retract into the brush making it a much gentler experience when you're brushing out tangles, but just as effective. This brush works, but it doesn't work the same way so if you or your child have hair that tangles easily it's going to hurt when you start brushing those tangles out. I have a 2 year old and 3 year old and both of them sit still without crying when I use the Mercier brush on them. With this brush they started whining as soon as I hit some tangles and were in tears by the time I was done brushing their hair out. With that being said, this is a smaller brush so it's great to take on the go, after the morning brushing has been done, for touch ups and quick brush throughs. As a primary brush however, I wouldn't recommend this one. Spend the few extra dollars and go with the Mercier brush.

My 5 year old daughter wanted an easy detangler brush and I did my research. She has long hair and always playing outside so it gets tangled but with this brush it makes it easy to brush it. This one works greats and is easy to use. A few snarls or snags but mostly smooth brushing! Would recommend again!
