This product is good for sensitive skin.You should know how to use cleansers. It’s not like other soapy products that will lather. It’s good for winters.

I’m not good at reviews but I will try so here I go, I came back to this cleanser this past spring and my acne was worse at this time and tried to figure out what could help and treat my acne so I decided to cleanse my face first than after that I cleansed my face again with coconut oil to massage the acne areas really good and used a quick steam from hot water on my wash cloth to pressed down with pressure on my acne and then I rinsed my face with cold water, pat dry and then I applied vitamin c cream and than a moisturizer. I continue to do the same routine for the next how many weeks, my acne started to get better the coconut oil helped my acne out because it was irritated and inflamed at the same time, and my skin started to look better than ever and after that I started to add salicylic acid toner to also help with my acne and all of a sudden my face has cleared up but every month I would break out with just one or two pimples which I don’t mind but I am in a better place for the first time in a long time as I struggled with acne since age 20 now I am 40 years old and much happier than ever, this is what works best for me for me only but this won’t work for everyone so I’m just sharing my experiences.

I know they're different products but when I see packaging like cetaphil's, with simple non-sensational branding and information like "for sensitive skin" and the like, I think of Cera Ve and for that reason I'm always taken aback at the fairly strong fragrance. It doesn't say fragrance free, so it's my fault, but even as fragrances go, I'm not fond of the vaguely baby-powderish smell that lingers after my shower or face wash. It definitely does it's job well; I have pretty oily skin and this doesn't make my skin act up or dry up when I wash frequently which is perfect. Just wish it was fragrance free.

The cleanser is not too harsh for a 50 + face. I have dry skin and just use this for makeup removal at the end of the day. It works well and do not leave my skin dry and tight. I was introduced to this item by my college age son. He liked the lack of "pretty fragrance" smell. I brought the item on Amazon where you have to get 2 for the best deal. So I used the 2nd bottle. And I love it. I have used department store cleanser ever since puberty. I am so used to spending a lot more for the department store cleanser that I am so surprise that my face feel great with this product. So thankful for my kids opening my eyes to this product.
