Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, All Skin Types, 16 Fl Oz

I have oily skin but like this cleanser in winter months when my skin becomes drier. It cleans gently and without stripping, leaving my skin soft. The first I used it, I was thrown because it doesn’t lather, but that’s just because that’s what I was used to. It not lathering is part of the gentleness and not stripping your skin. I will continue to use this seasonally based on my skin’s condition.

I've been using Cetaphil and its associated moisturizer since I was a teenager. No other product cleaned my oily skin without drying it horribly, and it took care of my acne and later it helps with Rosacea. One thing, put it on your dry skin, then remove with either tissues or a moist washcloth. If you start with your skin wet, it doesn't work as well. It takes oils off your skin like a miracle cure. Also, I keep a little in a container in my purse. Because its so easy (put on, wipe off with tissue) to use, I can freshen my skin anywhere.

This is a great mild soap. My family (females) are prone to thrush. My gran's gyno told her to use this as the soap for her lady garden. Regular soaps have too many dyes and perfumes. Our whole family use this for this purpose. But, I've also gotten my husband to begin using it for his face, as the face soap I use was making him break out. It's working well for him.If you have, or any family members have, sensitive skin/issues with dyes and perfumes, I recommend this. It will not lather like a normal soap however, so be prepared for that.

It felt nice the first few days. It wasn't until I ran out and stopped using it for about two days that I broke out. I went to the store and got a new bottle and the break outs seemed to stop. I decided to test this theory several times over the course of a few months with another facial cleanser to make sure it was the product and not my skin. It didn't happen with the other products I used. Something to be noted (comparing it to cera ve gentle foaming cleanser). I'll say it's a good product if you plan on sticking with it for some skin types not all. It does clean and feel gentle when you use it, though.

I use this since I am allergic to anything with fragrance. It is a very good cleanser with no fragrance which is what I need. It is also moisturizing which is also what I need. I am very happy with this product and I highly recommend it!

I have used this product for over 30 years, ever since my dermatologist recommended it. Recently, a new version has come out that does not agree with my skin, so I was very glad to find the original. I don't know how long it will be available. If anyone else has a problem with the new version, please get in touch with customer service at Galderma. If enough people complain, they may bring back the original.

The product was recommended by our dermatologist amongst others. I bought this one for my son, as he is using a treatment and needed a face wash/cleanser. It is gentle and doesn’t dry his face like others did. A little goes a long way, too. It also seems to prevent more breakouts. New skin seems to be coming in, which I love. I highly recommend.

This purchase did not have any cleansing suds, not even a little bit. I am disappointed with its cleansing capability. If I could have returned easily, after unpacking, I would have.
